Great central location with car parking.
The plumbing needs work. The shower had poor water pressure and went hot and cold.
They stay was delightful. As young girls in our early twenties we quite enjoyed our stay at the Pullman. It was comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful and very welcoming.
The only negative was the room service taking longer than expected. In saying that with a hotel that big we didn't expect it to be fast food but we did wait a while, or we were just impatient one of the two haha.
Location, accommodating staff and friendliness of staff and helpfulness. Will return when in Melbourne again.
Close Rod laver
Understanding Accor have just taken over but the hotel is a bit outdated our bathroom was mouldy in the shower and the bath had a price out of it Breakfast was also a disappointment as my wife was fuittose intolerant so only could have eggs on toast and a cup of tea and it cost $5 less than a full buffet
The location was great for what I needed to do ..
Excessive price for a dirty small functional room plus extra WiFi and parking charges, and construction noise
Beautiful old world ambience of lounge, foyer, restaurant area. Very friendly, helpful staff. Great location for access to MCG & other sporting venues.
Not actually a bad experience, but was surprised by high cost of breakfast. Actually $20 a head more than comparable breakfast at hotel in Sydney the previous day.
Very good standards in every department.
Shower head could have been better
The staff were extremely pleasant and the Vibe of the hotel was relaxed and happy
I would have preferred to have been given an actual king bed instead of two single pushed together
Great location across from MCG and staff second to none in house restaurant magnificent
Expensive for the old style of hotel
The pool and the location, easy for walk into city, the art centre and for the Jollimont train stations Friendly staff on the desk and at the door ( doorman) staff were helpful.
Charged for wifi. Should not have to pay for wifi in this day and age. Somehow the breakfast room lacked atmosphere or a calmness about it. Eggs Benedict was delicious , thank you.
the view from our corner room was terrific overlooking the MCG and city gardens.
Liked being able to walk 10 minutes to above sporting venues - we were there primarily for the tennis. Liked the hotel but had recently changed from Hilton to Pullman and allowing for that they need to upgrade the bathrooms - too small, showers over baths and baths peeling all around the edge and plug holes. Bathrooms were two star in what could be 4/5 star hotel otherwise. Staff excellent, breakfasts excellent. No free wifi - very poor to have to pay in centre of Melbourne so we didn't - we ended 8 week holiday here and had to pay for wifi in only 2/3 of the other places we had stayed in. Valet parking expensive and really you don't need a hire car in Melbourne and that was our mistake.
Bathrooms 2 star as noted above. No free wifi and expensive Valet parking even though you could not self park due to building work and this was charged daily even though we never took the car out for 6 days. Credit card transactions fees charged even on Visa.
Efficient checkin clean updated rooms. Small but well equipped gym. Great if you are going to the MCG
Older style bathrooms
We had several large moths in our room!
Our view of the New Year's Eve fireworks was amazing with windows overlooking the MCG and the city.
Change of hotel name with notifying us, we were expecting the Hilton but had Pullman signage which cause confusion & slight panic. Thr pillows were all very firm, no choice of flatter ones.
Great location to watch the NYE fireworks
Unfortunately the day i stayed was the 'hand over' day from Hilton to Accorhotels. The staff were not attentive and the room wasnt ready. I did not enjoy staying there that much except for the location of the hotel.
Love the closeness to the MCG and other sporting arenas. Also a short walk to great restaurants and parks.
Good staff Good location
Location Entertainment Food Spa treatment
Bathroom - old Lighting - poor Bed kept moving away from the wall
Convenience to CBD.
Bathroom plumbing noise ftom adjacent rooms. Noise of railway on MCG side of building. Will request room on other side next time.
All the staff were lovely which makes the experience so much nicer.
WIFI - quirky and too difficult to quickly get a login to check emails.
For a special event (New Year's Eve fireworks) an excellent location. Breakfast selection was very good.
Restaurant fairly ordinary for the price. Bath needed repair around plug hole but we understand there is a transition period for the hotel management and upgrading to PUllman standard.
