The location and the in house facilities
This was a great place to stay. -the cabin was clean & comfortable -we were central to everything we wished to see. -the park was quiet and restful. -the owners were very helpful and made lots of suggestions on what to see while we were in Hobart.
There were only two minor points: -as I am a short person, there needed to be a footstool for the lounge. -we had to close the bedroom blind totally at night for privacy. Maybe a sheer curtain as was in the dining area would be good.
Close to town, secure premises
- benchtop oven & microwave - comfy double bed - very close to Hobart and other places of interest - wi-fi reception was great
- bunks were not comfortable - bunks were opposite bathroom - lounge was soft and uncomfortable - kitchen tools were well used
Nice quiet location with easy access to the main highway to get to attractions
Kitchen area could have a bit more storage space / shelving so you could place groceries etc
Very bad internet connection, no dryer
Well set up and plenty of room for the bags. Quiet.
Cabin was very tight for room and beds were uncomfortable
Pet friendly, comfortable, clean, every facility we needed. Well equipped kitchen. Pleasantly decorated cabin. Private verandah. A cosy, quiet retreat relatively close to Hobart. Thank you for allowing us to bring our dogs!
Floor and wall edges in ensuite missing trimming - adding this would improve appearance. Need more signage to the caravan park as entry is located inside suburban block.
Smelly, very run down, curtains torn, fridge and beds very old. Grounds in bad condition. Situated in a residential area, so we had blaring music coming out of caravans that backed onto our bedrooms with large barking dogs.
we liked everything about this place the staff were friendly and helpful nice and clean and central to what we liked
nothing everything was what we expected
Need to specify that the triple bunk beds are suitable for young children only.
The fact that i was expected to put my family of 4 in what looks like a shipping container on the outside and a little 1 person flat (which is bigger than what this was) made me sick....not as described at all! Its a caravan park in a very bad part of hobart. Do not book here unless u want to have sleepless night's and waist your money!
Space and size of house, plenty of beds, 2 bathrooms and free wifi! Our 4 teens appreciated the wifi after 2 weeks travelling without it ;)
enough space and good environment.
cooking facilities: pot and pan.
Large spacious house with comfortable sofas. Good outdoors deck area and plenty of space to relax.
Mould on the bathroom ceiling
The bunk bed needs more space
codes are required to open the door which i think is convenient and safe. and the yard is not bad and quite like a garden.
there're few restaurants or supermarkets nearby and a bit far away from the city.
the place is rather old, could do with some improvemenrts
The venue location The gardens
Unbelievably small for a family cabin Not enough lounge chairs to accommodate 4 people. Bathroom done cheaply and no space on the sink to put anything. No useful shampoo/conditioner samples supplied. Cabins too closely spaced to other cabins.
Close to Hobart, airport (but need own car). Excellent internet. Arrived after office hours; easy arrangements for check-in in absence of office staff.
Picture in gallery shows office. Rooms are cubicles (container type). Access not well marked on map. Microwave oven did not work.
cheap compared to other Hobart accommodations
I got what I paid for - tight parking space, small cabin and uncomfortable bunk beds. I did not see any cottages.
The unit was comfortable and clean, Kitchen had been renovated and well facilitated.
Difficult to initially access entry to park. The layout of the park felt very compacted.
The location made it easy for a base to explore Hobart and surrounds. I originally booked for 3 nights, extended to 4 as I was having such a great time around Hobart. MONA is 5 minutes up the road, Hobart CBD 10 minutes away too. WhenI first arrived I thought it might be noisy, but in my cabin at the back of the site it was very quiet, slept well. Good bed, TV and well equiped kitchen. Jason has lots of great tips on places to go too. Nice people, good stay. Thank you. Anthony
