Everything except the
Cooked Breakfast which was awful. Cheap and not cooked
The cleanliness n efficiency in check in
The retro charm has become plain shabbiness. I tried two rooms: the first, right next to a highway, was awful and dingy; the second was tiny. Ripped carpets, ricketty furniture, broken blinds.
As the children in the party were competing in athletic carnival the quiet atmosphere was important. Proximity to running track very important.
THE HOT BREAKFAST NEEDS TO BE IMPROVED, WITH A BIT MORE PRESENTAION AND GARNISH ON THE PLATE, AND TOAST BUTTERED A BIT BETTER, BUT HEY IT WAS OKAY, BUT IT COULD BE BETTER
I think it is excellent value for money, the check-in was smooth, the room very spacious and light with a nice presentation of tea and coffee. Good parking facilities. Ideal for tourists travelling by car.
Travellers not familiar with Hobart could easily miss the entrance due to the sign being obscured by trees. The map provided is not very clear.
Location and price are great.
The staff are very accommodating and friendly.
Couldn't have shower on my first night as the water did not drianged in the shower.
Parking right in front of the room unit.
No soap and shampoo disspenser available in bathroom and wash basin. A heater light in the bathroom will help the guest feel warmer when coming out of the shower cubicle. Wifi services not available in the rooms and guests felt inconvenient to surf the net at the small reception area.
Loved the location just a short drive to the city and also the Newtown shopping centre. Room size was great. It suited us very we'll. loved view from the tower and the staff were very helpful and friendly.
The double bed was not very comfortable unfortunately.
Very thin walls and room to light to sleep
The location was good, little far to walk into the main shopping area (about 1/2 hr each way) but it was good driving time & close to highway.
there was to much light shining through the windows at night could hear the people upstairs moving around at night
Friendly staff, and a handy location both to the motorway and public transport.
The place was not clean.
Convenience Helpful Staff Service flexibility (early breakfast) Parking easy Central location
Motel style accommodation very basic.
The staff were great we had budget accomodation very clean rooms ,great prices, handy to everything .Loved our stay there.
We didn't have anything negative to say as we had budget rooms it was all we exspected.
Close to restaurants. Easy walking distance to city. Bus stop right outside with good public transport.
Facilities are being upgraded gradually. Rooms we stayed in still need some work. TV useless in our room.
Staff , location, clean.
Microwave too small for bottle sterilizer. little bit of cultlery and crockery be nice even tho there is no cooking facilitys . toaster in room but no plates etc.
The only thing I would have liked to see is a microwave in the rooms for people staying two or more nights
Very conveniant to everything staff were helpful clean and tidy
noisy exhaust fan in bathroom room 50
The location, for someone with a car, is excellent. Easy access to Hwy 1 and close to neighborhood shops abs pubs. Large room and extra blankets. Refrigerator and hot water pot, along with a good supply of tea and coffee.
The door latched poorly, catching only about 3 mm of the locking latch and there was no doorknob, so it didn't feel very secure. Also, the door didn't close tightly, so a lot of cold air came in around it. We propped a chair against it to keep it from rattling when the wind blew. Bathroom was freezing as there was only a small heater in the bedroom part and no heat at all in the bathroom.
Was basic but comfortable and clean. Within walking distance to eat and easy to get out of the city the next morning
Clean and close to hobart
The bed is too small for a double and the place is too close to the main road to hobart
closeness to city and quiteness there
It was clean. There was adequate heating.
Advertising for this accommodation indicated a location within walking distance to the city which it was not.
Clean and tidy rooms, Breakfast was good value for money. Beds were quite comfortable but the double is a double, not a queen size.
Shower is very small and the alarm clock didn't work. The blinds do not block much light and the noise from the upstairs patrons clomping about in heels was a problem.
