Holiday Inn is located at a Prime area, close to all ammenities which so convenient for anybody who wants yo have a break in Cairns. The staff were friendly, service was good and what more can i ask for. Wonderful short break for my husband and i. I look forward coming back to Cairns and wouldnt mind staying at Holiday Inn again.

No problems for me i think everything seemed fine to me.

Locaton was great and the Staff was freindly and helpful.

The room was clean and comfortable. The garage was not accessible and the, business center was down and the facility is tired, inneed of a face lift.

Really lovely, resort style.

My Ocean view room was fresh and a good size for a short business trip. I liked the choice of firm and soft pillows, ocean view and room furnishings, espresso coffee at breakfast

My "fresh" pillow cases on night 3 had a damp and unpleasant odour to them. Housekeeping readily changed them for new pillows but they smelt the same. Might have been a one-off issue with a batch of linen not being dried and aired after washing but it still left a lingering memory of my otherwise enjoyable stay. Bathrooms are cramped and pokey

The breakfast was really good with a huge spread and worth it!

The staff were not very friendly or efficient. The toiletries given to us looked dodgy because of different levels in each bottle, so we asked the staff for another set. The reply was housekeeping was already off work (at 6.30pm) and when we insisted we wanted a new set, the staff brought a "new" set of bottles which looked like they were conveniently taken from another room because again they were of different levels.

Check in staff were very efficient and quick. Cleanliness, room service was vey quick and great food.

Room smelt damp and tap water in room tasted mouldy. I let reception know this in the morning - room 403. Our friends next door in 402 felt the same, in fact they thought their bed felt damp. Also there were hairs in our bath when we arrived. Decor of the corridors looked like a car park - bear floors and concrete walls - not what I would expect from an international hotel!

An older woman working at reception denied my mother and I an early check in.

Big comfy bed, great pillows, large opening sliding window/door, FANTASTIC staff. We felt welcomed our entire stay, all the staff went a step further than the motels we have recently stayed in, CONGRATULATIONS HOLIDAY INN CAIRNS you are doing something well, keep it up. We have already recommended your motel to others for an enjoyable and relaxing stay, thanks heaps, we loved our stay.

Bar closed very early and staff inflexible regarding this. Ants all over the place .... I know this is the tropics, but I saw room service trays awaiting collection in our corridor all day, hardly discouraging the insects. Expensive and not very nice coffee. Very noisy with roadworks when we stayed.

Suited are needs for the weekend. Location great. Service excellent

Great balcony with equally great views. Lovely room that I cannot fault, however the small bathroom will prevent me from staying there again.
