Convenient for early morning flight

Staff helpful and pleasant, the food was well prepared and tasty. Sound proofing enabled us to sleep, important so close to the airport.

I travel overseas & find the hotel a great place to stay the night before i leave as i live in the country. Once checked in i dont have to leave the hotel for food or drink, & get dropped at the airport the day of my travel.

Proximity to airport terminals and shuttle service

Comfort and a good room and very adjacent to the airport

Not clear at booking of a credit charge for paying the bill this needs to be clear at the initial stage( I could have payed cash if it was clear.) Bar food good and reasonable for hotels but mini bar expensive especially for water! A charge for shuttle to airport was parsmonious and not good customer care for a hotel of your reputation.

It was a handy location for going to Tasmania via the Spirit of Tasmania. The hotel bar was very expensive with very slow service.

Very well situated near the airport, they have a shuttle bus free of charge, two big confortable beds in every room and two kinds of pillows soft and hard. The staff was very helpful. Free internet in lobby computer but very expansive wireless conection.

Very small, old and ugly bathroom.

The staff were very friendly and happy. It's so nice to see smiling faces!!! The room was adequate and the beds especially were comfortable. Even though it is situated so close to the airport, it was surprisingly quiet in the room.

Convenient location for overnight stay in transit

Airport hotels should all have short-stay options, enabling booking in blocks of say 6 hours or even 12 hours. We had 6 hours between flights but had to book a full day.

Lets face it, no one goes to the airport for a holiday, so of course the main bonus of the holiday inn, is its location. Most people are staying there because of flights not connecting or coming too late in the evening to get another flight. I loved the fact the staff were very friendly and engaging, and efficient, and it was hassle free and quiet.

I didn't like that fact, that they didn't provide free wi fi...its an expensive place to stay to begin with, and most people staying are mearly there due to flights, and not for leisure. I think having rooms based on solo travellers should be something australian hotels should look into, and to create simple rooms and more affordable accommodation for people like myself who just need to sleep a few hours before catching an early morning flight. Free Wi Fi is available all over the world in hotels, even in budget backpackers, so in general its time Australia started to do the same thing. It was really inconvienient, that I had to pay for wi fi... After spending so much money on a room.

Quiet, comfortable, handy to the airport.

Lunch was only available in the bar area at a very small table.
