Service at the bar was friendly, when it happened. I waited 15 minutes for a staff member to arrive. Whist all the staff were polite, there was no personalisation in the service, robots could have provided the same service. I've stayed in Holiday Inn in numerous countries, and this did not meet their normal standards.

I liked that, although I considered the hotel a budget one, most things were provided e.g. facewashers, shampoos, moisture cream and specialty pillows.

I didn't like that the internet was not free.

The hotel is located outside the airport, it takes about 10 minutes walking with 2 young kids + luggages in the midnight.

Flexibility about check in and check out times, and support with transfer to airport for flights

courteous staff and informative staff. courtesy bus to airport early in the morning and ease of checking in and out.

katheryn, the night manager tried very hard to right all the things wrong with this place--of course she could not replace all the filthy carpet!! She did try to remedy the terrible smell in the room with an air purifyer and the broken coffee oot with a new one. thank goodness i had a brief stay there.

Have always stayed at the holiday inn when required however I will stay at the other airport hotel next time. I think the room I stayed in was looking very tired so for a few extra dollars and closer access to the airport I will try the other hotel.

We have stayed there quite a lot, as we live at south Gippsland, so with the rotten Melbourne traffic we have to travel night before , so the motel is very convenient easy parking, and comfortable dining area. Staff on this occiasion were excellent, bus driver, and front desk.

There is only one item I find hard to handle-- and maybe not your fault-- the closing of room doors, persons (sub human) quite a lot of your patrons slam their door any time of evening and early hours of the am.

Convenience to Airport

After 5 days in Melbourne for a family funeral it was very relaxing to get to the hotel in air conditioned comfort to enable to catch an early morning flight to the Sunshine Coast. The room service was excellent and the staff very friendly.

The staff were excellent,friendy sense of humour and extremely helpful. The room service meals we ordered were exceptional and fast in delivery. The minni bar was stocked with a good choice of drinks, the wine was very good. We will always be using youe services in the future when collecting family from the airport.

The receptionist that booked us in, and arranged our limo was great. She knew just how to help us, and this contributed to us having a fabulous night. We were attending a wedding in Sunbury, and the transport got us there on time, and our driver was a real gentleman. thanks.

It was very expensive. $180 for a night seems alot when you still have transfers to the city, and nothing to do at the location. I would have welcomed a free shuttle to the city, even if it was only once or twice a day. And, recognising erros occur, one of my pillows missed being changed from previous guest. It was covered in makeup and hair. I just put it aside and didnt use it. Had I been a 'whinger' I would have complained about it. I did check the bed linen though.

Very friendly and informative staff at the front reception desk, and at the breakfast room. Bed was extremely comfortable and very clean room.
