Beautiful old building, fantastic views from room, renovated to an extremely high standard, staff went out of there way to help my husband & myself,
While travelling overseas, every hotel we staid at had free guest WiFi
The hotel is quite beautiful
The ambience . Lovely feel for Christmas , with all the decorations. Particularly loved the fact that you had a pianist playing in the lobby setting. Special.
Nobody should have to pay for WiFi these days . In 2015 it, to me , is as necessary as a bed ! ( And I will be 70 in November. )
Atmosphere, food, overall services
Room, location and scale of hotel - still one of the best in Canberra - right next to the lake and away from everyone else
No lobby shop or ATM at all in the hotel which is a pain when I forgot a couple of things - the nearest shop is miles away! I just think even a small lobby shop would be very helpful.
Always enjoy our stay at the hotel
The staff seem genuinely helpful and relaxed but efficient. They just have a certain way of making you feel welcome whatever your background.
I didn't like the fact that guests wore thongs to the meals - it seemed so disrespectful to the hotel and staff.
service and attitude of workers in buffet restaurant, especially at entrance and egg cooking section were made guests so unhappy. nobody expects at Park Hyatt that no bellboy once getting off.
Location - centre to everything. Staff were excellent, helpful.
Early closing of the bar, lobby for late coffee & cake
Open space atmosphere
Excellent service, polite staff nothing was a problem
The ambassador lounge was too crowded, not worth the extra money for the privledge
The door staff were fantastic. We travelled with pushbikes, they helped us getting them in and out every time. Very friendly!
Cleanliness of room Decor
It was a very relaxing setting. The staff, including the porter, were very polite and attentive at the check in. The staff at dinner in the buffet were very attentive also.
We sat for fifteen minutes after being given a menu, before we ordered (after reminding the staff member) and another fifteen minutes before we were served. The empty glasses from the previous people at the table, still sat there after we were served.
Complimentary champagne on arrival to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary. Also provided undercover parking for our motorbikes complimentary for our special occasion. Thanks to excellent staff.
Restaurant food was ordinary for the price.
The Canberra Hyatt is a luxury hotel with all facilities. The restaurant provides first class food. Highly recommended.
Front desk service very ordinary! Not overly courteous and they forgot bedding for our son which was booked. Wouldn't go back, nothing like Hyatt Melb.
Location spacey cleaniness
Spa in room to high to climb into design of room was 1960's Free breakfast was til 10am
The location , the staff , the comfort
Nothing to dislike
Comfortable & classy
Having to pay for parking in their grounds
The space than gave a sense of tranquility and luxury
The service at breakfast was a little slow.
Location of the hotel
