Ibis Melbourne - Little Bourke Street  

The location of the Ibis Melbourne is hard to beat. The price through the "non refundable" option was exceptionally low for this category of hotel. The room was very comfortable and quiet and had everything one needed for a comfortable one-week stay - storage, good bed, electric kettle etc. Overall - a pleasant and uncomplicated stay.

It's about time hotels stopped charging extra for internet, the same way they don't charge extra for hot water and light in the room. Having said that, the deal Ibis offer ($50 for the week) is one of the cheaper deals in Melbourne. Cleaning service was ok, but sometime the room looked sloppily re-arranged. Needed to print one page (boarding pass) and realized it would cost about $5 use of the antiquated computer in the lobby - gave that up.

Closeness to skybus, we had a flight to catch te following morning and the Ibus hotel is the closest to the station,but is good for other things aswell

Nothing that I don't like about it.

Great Hotel, Rooms are small but contain everything you need. Beds were very comfortable. It was fantastic, friendly staff and close to everything! (especially the Spencer St Station) Buffet Breakfast had a good range but a little over priced ($20 per person)

The pillows...they were shocking, a pile of rolled up towels would have been better. So if you can bring your own pillow. That's really the only bad thing.

Great location. The airport skybus station was just 100 metres from the hotel. So was other tram stops, nightclubs and other attractions.

Very small rooms, but well designed

The staff were extremely friendly - especially Natalie (I think was her name) on check in. Great service - would stay there again

Not happy with $50 deposit required on checkin - credit card swipe should be sufficient flight checkin/printing boarding pass should be done complimentary thru reception all baggage storage should be secure and complimentary (not open to the public behind a gate or pay lockers) tv remote control unsatisfactory where one can accidently activate pay movies - tried to charge me for a movie I didn't watch all above never experienced b4 at other hotels not sure how u can compensate for my unfortunate experience there - especially when pay printer jammed and could not print my flight boarding pass was the final straw - tempted not to ever stay at an IBIS hotel again

Location its just a short stroll from Southern Cross station and has plenty of resturants around it. The staff were Excellent very helpful pollite happy smilling people.
