Food was great The stairwell in underground car park was absolutely gross to walk from car to accomadation, smell of urine, beer, and rotten food. Litter scattered about. Not a good look for anyone from overseas visiting and staying at the Ibis I thought let alone for my wife and I.

The place is near the Queen Victoria's market and many eateries including McDonald's and Subway. There is also a supermarket round the corner. It's convenient to travel around with the tram or even walk to the city centre. It's one of the hotels that Skybus provides hotel transfer to so it was easy travelling to and fro the airport. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. I didn't have any problems with the room cards. The receptionist who did check-in honoured the request made in email earlier for complimentary room wifi although the promotion was over. There wasn't much variety for breakfast and they served the same food everyday. It was strange that the housekeeping staff kept removing the hotel soaps that I used and replaced them with new ones but never bothered to place a shower cap until the fifth day of my stay. And he/she kept putting away the iron and ironing board which was a hassle since I had to iron my clothes almost everyday during my stay. The check-out receptionists didn't have very good listening skills and misinformed me because they didn't pay attention to the question. One just turned away, probably gave up and attended to other clients and the other impatiently cut me off when I was talking. Although they did help me with my request but the encounter wasn't very pleasant.

affordable and convenient since it is within the city vicinity and a walking distance to Queens Victoria Market (a must go to) was expecting a much spacious place for 5 guest accomodation.

Very near to queen victoria market. Very clean. Friendly staff. Near to public transport. The hotel do not have kitchen stove. Not suitable to cook meal.

Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Free wifi access not available for hotel guests at their rooms but only at the hotel lobby. However, the free service is only limited to 30 minutes per device. Furthermore, room service wifi access charges are too expensive.

The customer service here was excellent. The staff went out of their way to help me out. In fact, there was one occasion where I stated that when I booked my room, it was advertised that there would be free Wi-Fi (but apparently that offer at Ibis had run out). However, because of my booking, they offered me free WiFi - no questions asked! Now, that is great customer service and you have made a loyal customer :) The room was really clean and spacious - really nice view. Housekeeping was great and the restaurant downstairs was excellent. Great service overall! Will definitely be back again :) Pretty close to the city as well, just walk down Elizabeth Street and you will reach there None
