The bar service was great and the meals were good
The Swimmingpool. The bar. Good clean facilities,
pool cleanliness location staff food ease of check in and out
bed too hard
It was a lovely place and reminded us of Twin Waters on the Sunshine Coast
Nothing to dislike
Reception staff didn't know hotel setup. Directed me (70 years old) to upstairs room as said had no downstairs available. Told receptionist I had heavy luggage and she said she would give me a hand if I wanted but told me only 4 or 5 steps so said I would manage. There were 16 steps and when I complained after lugging heavy suitcase up I didn't receive apology until complained to duty manager who inferred it was my mistake as she said she would help, but when I informed her as to what receptionist had told me her reply was that it was an 'honest mistake on receptionist part".Quite obvious they were not going to admit it was very bad service. She then informed me the receptionist had apologised which I told her was not the case, she said 'well I am apologising for her'. I was astounded.Chairs in my room were disgustingly stained and dusty. Asked the housemaid to take them away as were disgusting and should not be in a room, I was told it was 'only bleach stains from the cleaning'. Wrong information given to me when went to breakfast in dining room, telling the person in charge I only wanted muesli, was told yes I could have whatever I wanted, then was charged the continental breakfast price of $18.00 for a bowl of muesli. He told me I would be given a discount but after paying my bill when le aving that was not the case. I couldn't be bothered arguing so just wanted to get out of that dreadful hotel. Would not recommend it to anyone.
All off it close to everything view of the lake to great kids loved the pool and playing outside on the lawn lived it all
Bed was very comfy!
That I could lock the door from inside, my one year old wanted to escape cause he could reach door handle!
We thought this resort was excellent value for the deal that we got. Beautiful setting and good service.
Good for stay over or holiday
The pool was wonderful for doing lengths.
Steps to the room. We had been told incorrectly at reception that the room was on the ground level. One of our group has mobility issues.
beautiful grounds and pool, lovely bathroom with large walkin shower.
lack of business center for computer and printer access. wifi fee is expensive. there are few restaurants in the area within walking distance other than fast food which seemed overpriced. the area seemed a bit industrial.
General atmosphere and ambience and friendly staff.
Bathroom door not properly fitted and problem with TV with only one channel working and seemingly trying to force one to rent an inflated price for movies.
Nice resort style hotel with convenient location next to major shopping mall. Free parking was great since we rented a car.
Weddings outside our hotel room two nights in a row made it hard to get sleep, especially for our little bub who kept waking up with the loud music. They should have given the rooms right next to the wedding to the wedding guests. No free WIFI was also disappointing.
Pleasant staff. Excellent food at restaurant. Great breakfast deal package. Lucky I found deal on booking.com
Rooms are dated. Would have been a lot more expensive if I had not booked with booking.com
Smelly room and noisy neighbours. Noisy hot water systems outside.
I booked online & specified that my partner was ill & not able to negotiate stairs so asked for a ground floor room, on arrival we had been booked into an upstairs room, the lady at the desk did rectify this but kept saying they were fully booked & tried to upgrade us but I had to pay the difference. The whole experience was embarrassing & distressing.
I could not understand why an on line booking for which we stayed for two nights was much cheaper than an over the counter booking for two days later for a smaller room was far more expensive?

location , price ,
fridge full of mini bar things we never use noisy fan outside bathroom window
We enjoyed the beautiful setting - overlooking the lake, cool breezes, fresh linen, lovely pool area and what a beautiful setting for the wedding reception we attended, looking out onto the lake.
The shower area could have been cleaner.
The shower was great
The checkin was quick, situated close to Castletown and fast food places.
Had trouble locating our room, we had to walk through diners in the outdoor restaurant found it very embarrassing. There was a wedding reception in a function room not far from our room. It was a bit loud. Overall the room was a bit too small not enough bench space and overpriced.
Had tepid showers even with only the hot water turned on to the maximum. Wasn't improved on even after maintenance had apparently checked the problem. Even though it is north queesland, in the middle of winter, a blanket on the bed wouldn't go a stray.
Location and cleanliness
The beds were uncomfortable
Was easy to get too and function was also at location/motel
Bed was far too hard. Light in bathroom worked when it felt like reported it and person receiving report dismissed it. TV remote would only change channels in one direction could not go back a channel or two had to scroll right through. Shower did not have hot water on two occasions.
