I was incredibly impressed with the InterContinental. The staff were very professional, room was beautiful, facilities were high class and the food simply divine. Well done! I would certainly recommend this hotel to others. TV remote was a little difficult and would get stuck however this was a very minor issue and didn't detract from the stay.

The location is excellent. Front desk staff offered to extend checkout time. Free daily newspaper gives a lot local information. No free Internet connection.

Location and mostly attentive staff The Internet purchase should not keep ticking when you sign off. 1 hour usage should mean just that. Ridiculous 8 Dollars for small bottle of water from mini bar is also ridiculous . Many hotels of similar standard infact have a complimentary bottle of water

Every staff member was super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Great atmosphere. Awesome food. Can't rate it highly enough. Will definitely go back repeatedly.

The room, view and gym. Like best were two staff danielle on front desk and ben Rumble. Both should be employee of the month Bathroom is a littke tired as is the restaurant.

Location, breakfast (quality and variety), comfort, helpful staff, cleanliness, interior decoration in the old part of the building. All in all, this is a wonderful hotel where we would like to return to. 1.TV should have a simple instruction how to operate, or a built-in menu on the screen to follow easily. 2. Wi fi network is not reliable. 3. Concierge or reception should advise guests to use a better entrance/exit at the corner of Bridge and Philip sts instead of the driveway.

The location was so central and within an easy walk to everything. The hotel was excellent and could not fault it in anyway or the staff. Always willing to help and nothing was too hard for them.

From the moment I checked in I felt welcomed, from the young man on the desk to the man who pointed me in the right direction for the lifts. All my contact with staff was positive. All friendly, well dressed and groomed. The room was comfortable, very well serviced and the location perfect for my visit. I went to the opera and it was literally a walk in the park to the venue which meant I could have a bottle of wine with dinner. Loved the pool and swam everyday, and loved the view of of that fabulous harbor through those big picture windows. Leaving! But I'll probably be back in July for two more concerts at the Opera House.

The location is excellent with the harbour views, the harbour bridge and opera house, museums, park so close. The historic building is wonderful. The staff were very professional and helpful. The food at cafe opera and breakfast was delicious and fresh, varied and abundant. The service was very high quality. The gluten free muesli is not tasty, but it was great that you offered gluten free breakfast - this is often overlooked. A better muesli would be the Brookfarm gluten free macadamia muesli - all the other gluten free mueslis I have tried taste like horse food or are hard to chew.

Size of the rooms, view from the room, cleanliness. Each day my room was cleaned to the highest levels I have ever experienced. Location was great and nothing was too much for the friendly staff, who preempted my needs when possible. No separate shower.

Checking staff were so accommodating, my daughter was flying back to the uk in the evening and even though we had an checked out they were so helpful allowing her to shower and freshen up before she left. Very friendly and a great team. Had a great stay - too short !!! A little confusion on what water was free or chargeable in the room, ended up paying $8 for a water.

The concierge service was absolutely superb. The breakfast was superb. The delay at breakfast before tea and coffee was served. This happened almost every time we ordered tea or coffee. Twice out of 4 days we left before the coffee arrived because it had taken so long.
