I stayed at Jika International during Australian Open 2012, the staffs are excellent, my room was specious and clean. I liked the restuarent. I didn't expect to talk to receiption staff face to face at 5am. I would recommend Jika International. May be the location, there is nothing in the surrounding area.

For our purposes the location and price were ideal. I had read some negative reviews after booking and had some concerns however apart from the interiors being a little weary everything was fine. That was ok with me as we were not wanting to pay top dollar. Room was quiet and cool after a hot hectic day. Having a restaurant in the complex was also great; so easy and not expensive. I would stay again if price remains so competitive.

The hotel was clean , modern & comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful at all times. Nothing was a problem for them. The breakfast & restaurant meals and service were excellent. It was in a great location as only minutes from train station and the price of the room was value for money. I would stay there again and will recommend it to other people. Normally we stay in Melbourne cbd close to sporting venues due to the tennis this option was unavailable but after after staying at Jika it was a excellent alternative. Great facilities, great price and great exercise to and from train station. Having breakfast included is fantastic and the evening meal we had thru room service was amazing.

Two very good things about it was the staff was very friendly (let us into our room 2 hours earlier) and breakfast was included in the price. It was a good hotel but I didnt think it was worth $110. The rooms were a little out dated and the carpet was sinkin in some places

-The staff is friendly -The location is quiet -Not far from the center, however not so close to the station -Breakfast is very poor: very poor fruit salad, cereal, yoghurt, bread, butter -Rooms are not fresh looking, they definitely need to renovate rooms and change the furniture -Spider's web was spotted on the ceiling -In four days they cleaned up just once

Good basic hotel, and very reasonable, breakfast was included! We wanted an overnight stay close to the airport, and, while it is not that close, it is easy to get there.
