REFER ABOVE - it was a dirty, dirty hotel and the worst I have ever stayed in, including the ones I have stayed in India. I had to put a pair of socks on to go to the bathroom, the water damage around the fridge was terrible and no mini bar, then over charged for the 4 beers purchased - tradgic.

Very close to train. A lot of parking. They allowed us to keep our car there even after we checked out so that we could take a 20 minute train into the city. A bit dated.

A large group of guests arrived between 1 and 2am. They were extremely noisy and showed no regard for other guests. While this was not the direct fault of the Jika hotel, no attempt was made to ask them to be considerate of others.

The staff were lovely and really look after you. The Chef is especially nice and he is a great cook! My room wasn't cleaned every day and I had to pay for wifi which I would have expected to be free.

Although the hotel was a bit far away from the centre of Melbourne it was comfortable and affordable and located in a very interesting and well serviced area. Distance form the centre of town. It was a $23 aud cab ride from the train station

Easy access and travel to the airport. The reason why I picked this hotel Presentation of the building in to the reception from the main road very poor. Bed should have under blankets or mattress protectors on them.

The hotel was clean , modern & comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful at all times. Nothing was a problem for them. The breakfast & restaurant meals and service were excellent. It was in a great location as only minutes from train station and the price of the room was value for money. I would stay there again and will recommend it to other people. Two very good things about it was the staff was very friendly (let us into our room 2 hours earlier) and breakfast was included in the price. It was a good hotel but I didnt think it was worth $110. The rooms were a little out dated and the carpet was sinkin in some places

-The staff is friendly -The location is quiet -Not far from the center, however not so close to the station -Breakfast is very poor: very poor fruit salad, cereal, yoghurt, bread, butter -Rooms are not fresh looking, they definitely need to renovate rooms and change the furniture -Spider's web was spotted on the ceiling -In four days they cleaned up just once
