the staff were excellent, they really took the time to answer questions as much as possible and you really got the impression they wanted to ensure you were alright. The room was spotlessly clean. The location was handy for many parks and the local station and shops. The food was excellent. Great hotel/motel. Difficult to find any negatives to be honest, but i would say that though the hotel is geographically close to the city centre/cbd, the fact that the traffic in Melbourne is so terrible (obviously no fault of the hotels) means that distances are longer than they should be sometimes. Also, and again its only a very minor point, but it may be good if they bought some new bed duvet covers. |

We were very pleased with the clean rooms, comfortable beds and good breakfasts. The staff were friendly but not forthcoming, when I asked for a laundry list I was not told that the service was not available, only for dry cleaning Guest information booklet was out of date, ie outside laundry service was quoted but was not available, distance from city proved to be nuisance. |

Close proximity to city, continental breakfast was very nice, good variety of cereals juice etc The room was not thoroughly clean, cigarette ash was on the bathroom floor on our arrival, carpets were not vacuumed very well, decor was dowdy |

We had a wonderful stay at hotel and couldn't fault anything! I highly recommend hotel to people visiting Melbourne - fantastic value for money especially with continental breakfast complimentary. |
