Kangaroo Island Seaview Motel  

The view was amazing. The old homestead was beautiful for breakfasts.

The tiny TV. I don't think it was even 300mm. It was hard to see clearly. Not good enough.

We really loved the included continental breakfast served in the beautiful diningroom each morning. We really appreciated how clean the unit was. We enjoyed chatting with the friendly staff. We liked provision of DVD player together with free DVD's.

We felt the TV sets were rather small, considering what are normally provided these days.

Fabulous location. Friendly front desk and housekeeping staff. We booked the two bedroom apartment and one sea view motel unit. The motel unit appears to have been recently redecorated. The included breakfast was very basic, toast and jam, cereals, tinned fruit, tea bags and instant coffee. There is plenty of off street parking and easy walking to the township.

The apartment is a good size for a family, but it needs a makeover. The bathroom shower recess needs to be retiled (very grotty floor), and the kitchen needs replacing (it is very old timber veneer with lots of chips and marks) the decor is a higgly piggly of mismatched furniture, there is a musty smell to the linen and curtains, and the light switches are all in strange places; but it is the plethora of homemade signs throughout the property that we disliked. Threats of $20 and $30 fines to your credit card if dishes are left in the sink, or the compendium is removed, or cutlery is taken on a picnic, or the room key is not returned - this is a shame, as the people are very pleasant and helpful. The only sign that made sense was the one about hanging up your towels if they were to be reused, except there were no towel rails! The master bedroom is positioned next to the kitchen and the little fridge whirs on and off throughout the night, and there is a water pump immediately below the apartment that springs into life whenever anyone turns on a tap(hopeless if you are a light sleeper). The apartment is on the second floor with a set of narrow stairs and not suitable for anyone with mobility issues.

Very small Tv, uncomfortable chairs to watch any tv. due to small size of room.

The staff were very friendly. The Room was within a well maintained old country-style building. The location was very close to the centre of Kingscote and its attractions. The Room and shared shower and toilet facilities were very clean, neat and tidy. The Room had a view directly out onto the Bay and was quiet. Breakfast was available in the dining room. The people living in Kingscote were very friendly.

Spacious rooms, nice views. Staff was very friendly. A wonderful motel!

Totally my fault that I didn't read the booking, but the guest house has a shared bathroom. We upgraded to ensuite bathroom and were quite happy.

Great suite. A bit old but spick'n'span

The spa would fit two garden gnomes or one actual person

the cost in the middle of winter (we were the only guests) was far too high breakfast was the minimum but "continental" seems to be all that "breakfast included" means these days

Splendida vista sul mare dalla camera. Aree comuni spaziose e complete, bbq compreso.

Il wi-fi non prende in camera, la colazione a 10$ ne vale 2.. (Fette di pane e cereali mollici che vengono spacciati come "colazione continentale").

La posizione , gentilezza . Camera nelle aspettative , tre stelle meritate .

Die Gemeinschaftsbäder waren sauber. Die Lage ist gut.

W-Lan funktioniert je nach Lage der Zimmer nur im Gemeinsschaftsbereich, dafür dort aber sehr schnell und zuverlässig.

Gute Lage, großes Zimmer

La posizione e la pulizia della camera. Aveva il bagno in comune però non essendo estremamente grande non c'era quasi mai nessuno in bagno. A differenza di altri Motel, che si trovano sulla strada e pertanto soggetti a rumori notturni dovuti al passaggio di auto, questo era su una parallela della strada principale di Kingscote, totalmente sprovvista di traffico stradale.

L'aspect de l'hôtel, un peu hacienda avec des terrasses jardin ombragées et des barbecues à disposition. Un motel très calme et agréable. Le sourire des hôtes.

Bei Meeresblickzimmern kann man den Sonnenaufgang im Bett liegend betrachten. Sehr zu empfehlen! Die Nähe zum Stadtzentrum und Pinguin Centre.

Die Insel ist traumhaft, das Motel liegt direkt am Meer mit Blick auf das Wasser direkt vom Zimmer aus.

Das Frühstück war sehr dürftig.

Останавливались на одну ночь, относительно близко с аэропортом (15 минут на автомобиле). Очень приветливый хозяин. Городок мизерный, поэтому от отеля все недалеко. Интернет быстрый и устойчивый. Парковка прямо перед номером.

Скудный континентальный завтрак, тонкие стены с соседским номером (у нас был номер 6), общаясь (не говоря про все остальное)))) вечером, соседи стучали в стену.
