fringe festival was a real bonus
Amazing views, spectacular room and the best, most comfy bed. The kitchen and living room are spacious and there is always a balcony. Thank you again La Loft! :)
We loved our stay at the Oaks Horizon in Adelaide, the location was perfect for our reason to travel and the 2 bedroom apartment was very spacious and had amazing views over Adelaide oval and beyond.
We would have loved some fresh towels and perhaps a bedding change, given we were there for 4 nights.
The apartment was near the tram and the city centre. We also enjoyed walks by the river.
Great views from the balcony. Great swimming pool and gym facilities available. Excellent value for money
Although address given there is no external evidence (no signs/doors etc)of La Loft Apartments from the street.(It is a floor within the Horizon Apartments) We had booked a tour giving the address but were stressed about the tour company finding it. Owners need to advise people booking the apartment to give Horizon Apartments as Address for Tour pickups.
The appartmrnt, Location and costing
Misrepresentation filthy no reception facilities no phone
Good size of the living room with great view. Location and value for money. Helpful Staff through phone or email
No on site staff. cleaning service. A little bit dated. Wifi is poor and expensive.
We were at rear of building overlooking nightclub area with noise until 2am most nights.
Dirty sanitry pad left in draw in bedroom.
Location Comfort Quietness
Check-in is a bit complicated, as there is no staff permanently on the premises
The spaciousness of the living area was appreciated and it was relatively quiet for an inner city address. Close to art gallery and other central city amenities. The finishes on the apartment were quite good.
The furniture need some sprucing up, surfaces were scratched and looked unloved. These didn't need replacing just some attention. The flat had been cleaned but it could have been better especially the carpet.
Location to Central Adelaide. Friendly staff. Parking. Comfortable bed and lounge area. Plenty of storage. Quiet.
Kitchen pots and pans disgustingly filthy. Only one wine glass and three plates!! No free wi-fi.
Required more that 1 towel each per week. Plug in bathroom sink didn't fit. Shower head in 2nd bathroom needs replacing. Couldn't turn dishwasher on. Foyer entry is floor is marked and looks dirty. Walls need painting in living room hall
Great location. Walking distance to most tourist attractions. Taxi, trains and free city tram right outside the door.
All was great. The only thing is you have to pay for internet in the apartment.
good location. clean room
very difficult to find this address. In fact,it is on the upstairs of the Oaks hotel
The views were great
cleanliness was unfortunately not a high priority. The room needed to be vacuumed after we were shown in as mess on the carpet made it obvious that this hadn't been done. The place had not been mopped properly either and one of the supposed clean towels had a really disgusting stain on it. The process of leaving the apartment whilst leaving the keys inside as instructed was also difficult given that the tag on the keys activates the lift to get down to the car park or ground floor and it is almost impossible to hold the lift. We were lucky there was someone else with a tag we could use to get out after the keys were locked in the room.
Very frustrating that we couldn't talk face to face with anyone. We had to text our concerns and someone would we call us back.
Location, proximity to the city, view of the river and Adelaide Oval
2nd double bedroom is a windowless room off the lounge- privacy is negligible if the light is on as the entire wall/door is frosted glass facing the lounge. The air conditioning was not efficient if the glass door was closed and therefore the door had to be open and privacy was nil. Difficult set up for two couples.
This was good value for money in a great location. Very comfortable accomadation.
We pointed out that there was only one chair on the balcony. They replaced them very quickly... Unfortunately with two of the most uncomfortable plastic chairs ever!
Good location on North Terrace. Staff member was helpful and replaced the unuseable rollout bed when requested.
Very noisy location - directly across the roads from the convention centre aircond exhaust outlets and a building site. Heavy, putrid smell of cigarette smoke in the room. Extra rollout bed supplied as requested but totally unuseable as it was held together with cable ties - this was repleced asap when requested. Small safe in cupboard was sitting on a show rack and not secured to the wall or floor. Tap in kitchen sink broken and floppy. Lots of little things broken or in need or maintenance.
noise noise no pool towels or extra's poorly explained arrangements prior to arrival
Location, air con, close to transport and shops. 2 x lounges. Room was ok, not fantastic, but it worked. Functional.
Had to pay on arrival which is not communicated. No tea towels on arrival or dish washing liquid. Batteries in TV handset were on the blink so had to buy more on the first day. No handset for the 2nd TV in the bedroom.
