Booking online. After receiving confirmation email I checked bank account and payment not processed. As per advice I contacted Travelodge directly and they confirmed payment would be now be taken as all booking details through to them. When my daughter arrived the next day she had to phone me to pay over the phone as payment still not through.
Great location in the middle of Hobart.
Parking was OK but a little tight.
Location. Free secure parking.
The crispy clean room !
The underground car parking spaces are impossibly tight. Very difficult to park anything other than a all car in there !
Close to Salamanca and city. Staff were excellent.
Had to move car from overflow car park at 8.00 am and park on metered street parking. For price, room was expensive.
Very helpful staff, comfortable bed, location very good for accessing central restaurants and shops
Disappointed with breakfast - food warm, sausages tasteless, drinks machine sadly produces poor coffee.
Closeness to the city and harbour and restaurants/cafes all within walking distance.
Tight parking spots!
The bed too close to toilet door.
Problems with A/C - very noisy at night - difficult to sleep. had to move rooms.Felt I had to prove issue with noise - not believed. It took me recording the noise on my mobile to convince staff there was an actual issue.
i liked the closness to the city area
i did'nt like the cost of the room for what we got , $189.00 a night to look out on to a tin roof with airconditioner motors is not what call 4 star. The issue of soap, shampoo , conditioner was mean .2 cake of soap and ONE small tube each of shampoo & conditioner for a 3 person room .unbelieveable.
'Can do' attitude from the staff, very helpful and happy to assist. Location was excellent, central to everything.
Tea and coffee are average at best and need to invest in better quality.
Very thoughful of the staff to notice it was my partner's birthday and left a gift and card. Loved the view and good kitchen facilities. Very clean.
Very noisy water pipes kept us awake most nights. Shower based leaked leaving a pool of water on the bathroom floor. Bathroom was small with not enough bench space for toiletries etc.
location of the hotel
parking facilities a very tight fit! room and bathroom very small and disturbed by paper thin walls letting all the noise come through. Terrible breakfast served in the dinning room and no other facilities to provide other meals on site
Room very basic for price.
The staff and location was very good. Room was quite comfortable.
The driveway exiting the car park. Thought I did serious damage to the underside of my car. Choice of softer pillows.
Easy access by foot to hobart CBD and Salamanca. Small room, but all that you need. Windows open for fresh air
Noisy pedestrian crossing outside
Room Size, uncomfortable bed, facilities in kitchenette.
Great location, all the sights at walking distance from hotel.
Form the window you directly looked into an office building nearby.
Dirty room stained doona small room uncomfortable pillows hard bed and staff saying "well when you book budget that's what you get". I did not set out to book budget I took the Tasmanian Tourist people's advice.
Location Cleanliness Value for money
Pillows Parking spaces
The underground parking can become congested depending on the number of guests with vehicles. There was no room for our vehicle so our only option was to park in the entry bay, which the hotel allowed. Not sure what would have happened if 2-3 more vehicles wanted a park??
The location for the travelodge in Hobart city. The staff were excellent Couldn't be more helpful. The Travelodge at the airport was much better. Rooms great size and restaurant was great.
The size of the rooms were too small for myself and my daughter especially the bathroom Could hardly move in it. There were kitchen appliances but no toaster This refers to Hobart city
The bathroom was too small
Proximity to all city facilities including Salamanca Markets which were great. A good base to set off for most trips so a central location.
A bit compact, so try an upgrade if you are more than 2 people and more than 60 kilos or 150cm tall. Bathroom really tiny.
Staff, location, great customer service, room size
