The decor, cleanliness and the laundry facilities were great.
Breakfast was a bit ordinary
booked for 4 days arrived to be booked into room 611 a budget queen room @$143.00 a night this room was the smallest room i have stayed in no room for luggage storage went down next morning to book out as i could not spend 4 days in the room moved me into a larger room for an extra $20.00. the new room was larger went to clean teeth vanity filled up with what appeared to be someones beard filled in form in room to have repaired not done so lucky the room had a kitchen sink to clean our teeth told them again of problem on checkout.dont try to park in the underground carpark fair chance you could hit a post as there is about enough room for a pushbike.
Close to central shops and Market
Room was very small and a little cramped.
Well placed hotel for getting around the city. Close to all facilities. Typical city centre hotel.
A lot of traffic noise although we were on the 9th floor, but we did have the window open at night.
Good location as within walking distance of shopping and eating outlets. Standard rooms whilst not too roomy are adequate.
If driving, parking is pretty hopeless, only a minimum amount of parks and those are pretty tight to access.
Staff were very helpful. Great location and relatively quiet - wouldn't complain if I had to stay again as a solo traveller
I had an average breakfast (made very average by the worst scrambled eggs I think I've had for a lone while). Carpark is cramped and small, but they mentioned a new carpark being added
Helpfull staff,very friendly
Why should I pay for wifii in 21st century.even McDonald's offer free wifii.
Close to markets
Terrible car parking, too tight, not enough available for patrons
Location is great, we purposely didn't hire a car for our week-long stay in Hobart so we wanted somewhere central. This was perfect, we walked everywhere. Not expensive. Nice to have windows that open and let the fresh air in. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
One night there must have been a group of friends who were in different rooms, one being right opposite our room, and they spent most of the night going to and fro, so doors banging all night. We had a kitchenette, but with only one chair to sit on it meant we either shared it so we could both eat at the little table or we sat on the bed. No big deal but it would have made things easier if there were two.
It was only a short walk to the places we mostly wanted to go to.
Comfort, friendliness from staff and extremely convenient and tasty buffet breakfast.
Most hotels at this price offer free wifi.
Location and staff
Poor choice at breakfast
friendly and professional staff, comfortable bedroom
Not enough car park spots, shower did not have much water pressure.
The car park, it's so small.
The co operation of the staff.
The fact that booking.com told me tax was paid when this was.not correct.
- The staffs are helpful - The location is good to explore the attractions
- The room is smaller than expected - Only one washing mechine and one dryer for whole accommodation need is not enough - 100MB free wifi per room is too less. It should at least 250MB per room
Closeness to Salamanca Place and harbour. Having a small kitchen was good although no toaster. Clean and comfortable. Staff were really nice.
Having to pay for wifi is ridiculous in 2015.
Olivia, was very helpful checking our return flight details. Appreciated the car parking facilities.
The staff and the location
Bed was too hard
nothing really apart from the location (close to CBD)
Unfriendly staff Totally overpriced
The room was very small. Little space for our luggage.
Salamanca Square was only a 5 minute walk Free parking Clean and comfortable Would definitely stay here again
The pillows were horrible in our second room. This was the second time we've stayed at the Travelodge Hobart. The first room on the 1st floor we had quite a large bathroom however the second time (on the 7th floor) you could barely swing a cat in there.
