Probably nearly due for furniture update !

The location is excellent if you are looking for a wilderness experience. Our tree top cabin was so warm and welcoming when we arrived with the gas log fire already lit. The walks are great and suitable for every level of fitness. The food was very good in the evening and the breakfast was adequate.

The bed was a bit like the resort in general, a bit tired and in need of some attention.

The food and chef Darren was amazing - the best part of our entire Tasmanian 10 day trip. The Main lounge was amazing. Walks were wonderful.

There were no TVs in room

The waterfalls on the property were fantastic! The breakfast was very hearty. The bed was comfortable. They have late check-in which helped because the roads in Tassie are windy and take a long time to navigate.

Serving staff had attitude. When booking asked for two double beds, but got 1 double and 2 single.

The secluded location and surrounded by nature. The fireplace in the lounge room creates a warm and cosy atmosphere. Also, enjoy the hot breakfast which is included in the rate.

Not enough privacy if you are staying in a room like we did.You could hear next door chatting and a bit noise when people walking along the hall way.

Location and privacy of cabin

No food preparation facilities in cabin meant I was forced to eat evening meal in restaurant. Waitress seemed to discriminate against me as a solo traveller which made for a very unpleasant experience. Food poor value for money. My entree had a hair in it. Only one vegetarian option for the main meal, which was a tart. Pastry was burnt and vegetables so undercooked they were still hard. No tv in cabin.

Remote

(i) There was no tv / music available in the pole cabins but is available in the family pole cabins ( which are the same price except you have to pay addtional $38 p/p per night) (ii) staff verbally offered a cooked breakfast but to find that this was an additional cost when we checked out (iii) daily room cleaning was inadequate as the coffee cups in the rooms had been rinsed but still had coffee stains

What a wonderful place to relax and veg out. The cabins were well supplied, with a well stocked fridge, lots of soft towels in the bathroom. The dining area was just like a ski lodge that you might see in an old film - wonderful. Breakfast was great -- lots on offer. The area was just perfect - quiet and relaxing. We will be returning next year, we liked it that much.

Great relaxing environment. Great sign posted walks to enjoy the scenery. The cabins were lovely and hotel very homely and well maintained.

The staff was very friendly apart from a young receptionist or also served us dinner, felt as if she was not happy with her job.

The remote setting, and accommodation design is stunning.

We visited here 5 years ago, unlike then: * Very disappointed with Restaurant food. * Sign posts for walks could be more prominently displayed. * On our previous visit, staff volunteered information, were very welcoming and hospitable. Not quite the same this time.

Location, accommodation, food, 'great place wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

We loved the cabin in the woods feel with our own little verandah among the trees. The bushwalks were well signposted and we were soo greatful for NO TV! Staff were wonderful and informative.

Efficient & friendly staff especially the wait staff (Tracy & Andrea) in the restaurant - most impressive!! And efficient chefs in the kitchen.

I loved the restaurant and the service. Restaurant staff were great. I loved the walks. The waterfalls were spectacular! The accommodation was also perfect. It felt great to be one with nature away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Location is amazing, great food provided on site or for a budget option they alos have BBQ's and provide a high quality BBQ pack option. Get to see wild life every night. We had been told that staying in lodge may be noisy but not at all. Our room was above restaurant and was very large and provided suiatble own space even if it was in lodge. Loved this place and would stay again. Only 30km to CM National park where we went for day trips.

Unable to have a proper meal on evening of arrival because we were the only couple staying there & the chef had been sent home!! So something to check arrival times of customers would be good, although they had tried to contact us.

Everything and anything, it is just pure paradise, just did not want to leave! Want to experience it (staying) in winter time. And it would also make staying with a loved one (partner) oh so much special!

Seemed o have too many rules re use of their facilities.

Location.....design of the tree houses (spacious and very comfortable)......access to services provided by Lemonthyme Lodge. Comprehensive info re local walks. Access to Cradle Mountain, but far enough away so as to feel "separate". Being greeted by a warm room (bliss). Generous breakfasts......great start to the day.

Asked for rare steak ("blue").....was over-cooked!!

Excelent service and friendly helpfull staff. Resterant was also of high standard.Would stay there again without hesitation
