The beautiful building with vines growing over ... A dream like picture.

The pull out sofa bed was uncomfortable and difficult to sleep due to this. Couldn't understand why we didn't get two single beds of equal comfort.

The Location was excellent. Staff very welcoming and helpful. Comfortable beds and good bathroom.

A little expensive for what was a nice room in a good location but really not extra special.

Great location close to restaurants,bars,wharf etc as well as the lovely suburb of Battery Point. Everyone friendly and helpful.

The weight of the doona on th bed and the pillows were very uncomfortabel.

Close to Salamanca, the markets and the shops.

The building works waking you up early in the morning on holidays.

I think you need to provide airconditioning - it was very stuffy in the rooms and they had an unpleasant odour when we waking in.

The location in Hobart is second to none. Close to anywhere you might want to go in Hobart, but not on top of the noise. Fantastic view of the docks area. Good parking facilities as well.

If we had been there on a super hot weekend, our room would have been very stuffy and warm at night. I expect airconditioning isn't the first thing one might need in Hobart, but the rooms that get the afternoon sun take a long time to cool down. The fan provided would not have provided much relief.

Family room quite small. No fresh air or balcony to sit on. I expected more for my money in comparison to other accommodation. Photo's misleading.

Very clean, we'll presented and comfortable. Great view of harbour side and waterfront. Pleasant staff with a helpful attitude. Excellent location for accessing other interesting sites and activities, particularly the Wooden Boat Fest and local markets and cafe restaurants.

Only one thing,..we were too warm when trying to sleep. It took until 1.00am to 2.00am to cool down sufficiently for comfortable sleep. Even though we'd have only half a bed sheet over us and windows wide open. More noise interrupts your sleep patterns with windows open however. No doubt this would be a matter already known to magement and under discussion. The pros and cons of reverse cycle air con can keep a discussion going for hours.

Other guest made a lot of noise- maybe signs might help them to be more considerate. Walls did not keep out noise of the other guests. Double bed too small.

Thought it was a little expensive but we were there at a peak time when Monafoma was on

I booked it because it was a period style building, but that building was only used for administration, even though it was featured as the hotel on the website.The bedrooms were a separate building done in a 70's era style which was disappointing.

Had to pay for toothpaste, toothbrush. I've stayed in many other hotels that provide these routinely, let alone as a saviour for guests who have forgotten theirs.
