Staff were very friendly and dealt promptly with an issue regarding the quality of one of our dinner choices. all in all an excellent venue and great place to stay.
Room is clean, great indoor swimming pool facility. Love the cozy ambiance and food is great.
Nothing to complain about.
Absolutely loved Location, facilities, friendly staff, ambience,
For years I have been hearing from friends how special Lilianfels is so, for my husbands' 80th birthday, decided to treat him to a night there. We were not disappointed, it was lovely and the staff so pleasant. And...birthday chocolates were sent to our room with a welcoming letter!
We travel overseas every year, staying in a lot of hotels, but could not fault Lilianfels.
Location is good and the staff was friendly.
The choice of restaurants was poor around there.
The bed , the view from our room, dinner at Darleys, the outdoor swim, the garden, the everything.
Warm open fires, lounges, plenty of places to gather for a quiet chat and a drink with friends.
Cost of drinks a little overpriced.
The location and style of the property were fantastic! The facilities were great, and Lillianfels is the perfect place for a chilled out romantic weekend away.
Considering what you're paying for the accommodation and meals (upwards of $600 a night) I was a bit put out at the $5.50 charge for a coffee. I don't understand why that can't be included in the $30 breakfast charge.
Had a very enjoyable stay and the Echo Restaurant was extremely pleasant. Location is beautiful and have recommend the location and place to many friends
The peace and quiet as I was not well and felt very relaxed after my short stay. The buffet breakfast was excellent. My friend and I enjoyed it very much.
That foxtel was only sport channels. I feel the cost of the spa and massage were far too expensive.
Beautiful surroundings inside and out. Excellent Breakfast. Pleasant staff.
Limited WiFi in respect of speed and download amount.
Fantastic hotel, staff and facilities. Nothing too much trouble. Handy for walks. Check out the Blue Mountain Guides if you want a trip out. We only had time for a half day walk but it was fantastic.
It's a little expensive but for this quality I wouldn't hesitate
The location, the decor, the feel if the place were all so beautiful.
Only that my stay was too short!
Excellent location, nice room and restaurant food was good. Friendly staff at reception and in the restaurant. No time to use the facilities due to the nearby sights, within walking distance. Pet friendly - rooms available and even a pet menu.
Food prices a bit steep. Better to eat out but of course a little inconvenient.
The location is perfect for anyone traveling to the Blue Mountains. The building is beautiful! the rooms so cosy and warm, if alittle on the worn out side of things. The bedrooms are large and spacious, however the furnishings are in need of being replaced. The staff were so lovely and helpful, very open and engaging. Nothing was too much trouble, however it may take awhile to arrive ?? and need another phone call to see if it was still coming, 2 hours later. Over all this is a beautiful old building that needs some love and money spent on her....
Colin, grumpy and rude for our entire visit, 3 nights. Sorry Colin, I did check with the staff to see if something had happened to you ( ie: a death in the family) to make you this way.... But no apparently not. Colin, smiling is easy and it costs nothing. The parking is annoying! only 25 ish parking spaces and at least double that in rooms available. Yes there is street parking, an extra $12 however when you are paying ALOT($500) per night to stay, this is annoying. Please make the basement parking free and available at ALL times.
Fantastic room with amazing view. the staff were very friendly and helpful and the overall ambiance of the hotel was the best. The restaurant was also amazing, with very attentive informative staff. As it was our anniversary and my wifes birthday we were treated to three additional taster plates between courses. A great experience.
The gym was limited in equipment, small and out dated.
Lovely old fashioned charm Great location. Friendly staff.
Very expensive. $28 for a beer and a glass of sparkling wine at the bar is way over priced for me. Would be nice if there was a large indoor bar lounging area with fireplace near the dinning area with views.
Location, ambiance, facilities
We had a Devonshire tea in the lounge and the scones were awful. Our bed was two king singles pushed together so there was a noticeable hard ridge down the centre of the bed.
Exzellent Location, easy to reach by train. Without a car you are directly in the national park, next to scenic world, you can walk in the rainforest, There is no better place.
The beds and room service
The staff were do helpful and friendly. The best place I've ever stayed. The day spa was amazing!! The products they use are devine.
Nothing at all
Had a wonderful break, even 24 hours was worthwhile.
From the reception staff to the staff at Darleys restaurant. Everyone was friendly and the place had great ambience. The dinner was exceptional quality. Rooms had character and being a stones throw from the 3 sisters was perfect. Very flexible and compliant staff. Congrats on a great, well run 5 star hotel.
we love going there nearly every year. it is lovely sitting in the beautiful lounge area with the lovely open fires. A home away from home. Also very classy. It has wonderful atmosphere. So many hotels are too modern, one could be anywhere in the world [hope it always keeps its charm.
there isnt anything we didnt like.
