Beautiful country estate and grounds. Very friendly staff. Nice breakfast and afternoon tea. The rooms and decor were very dated. Bathroom was tired. Quite expensive for the standard provided.

The country surrounding..but from our initial visit to Lindenderry I would not recommend your retreat. Will have to perhaps try again. Bedroom was terribly small and I was certain I booked a room with more festures-dvd and kingbed, however neither of these were there. The complimentary devinshire tea had ran out of scones early therefore we missed out all together. The window in our room was stuck and we had to call for room service to open the window for fresh air..And your pool facilities closes in the evening which is disappointing if you would like a late swim or spa....perhaps 10 pm would be more appropriate when you are catering for adults.

We liked the setting. the rooms were spacey and the staff friendly. our stay was enjoyable and relaxing. The breakfast included was excellent. We were surprised at the state of teh grounds. The grass was dead long and dry .The entrance to foyer was let down with the dryness of the grounds. I felt as a landscape gardener that the area around the buildings would have been more apealing as a green belt. Also the entrance driveway almost required a fourwheel drive to get into the carpark area. rutted and washed out . It just lacked the appeal that we had previously seen at a wedding reception.

It had a very friendly atmosphere. The staff were lovely. We really liked the wine and all the facilities the venue had to offer. It would have been nice to know that there was complimentary devonshire tea beforehand because we would have arrived earlier. Also, we didnt like the way some of the guests abused the library location - sitting there in the afternoon in the robes and partying till late at night. The noise was very loud from our room.
