We just loved this place!

Restaurant was not clean Not many Tours available to Whitsundays

location was amazing, hotel layout and faciltiies available were great. Food and meals were good and decently priced in bar. Pools were always well cleaned and looked after. It was a fantastic place to stay and i will be defianltey coming back to stay. After visitng all the other whitsunday Islands, it was by far the nicest place to stay, i mainly liked how it wasnt built up and commercialised it was very nature based and serene.

the shower in the bathroom didnt have proper drainage so every time you showered the bathroom flooded. the tv only had 2 working channels (7 and 2) A little more variety on the pool bar menu would be good. Some areas need renovations such as the mini golf. There needs to be a bed head on the beds, the shelf that sits actoss the bed prevents you from sitting up in bed, and there was no lounge in the room so there was no where to sit up in comfort in the room. Even if there was a long large pillow you could stick at the bed head so you can lean back.

not a lot of choice on the menu. a few (only a very small few) of the staff could do with finding a smile.

The maintanance of te room, facilities are too old. Staff are very layback and slow.co-ordination of the services were terible

Beautiful location, modern comfortable rooms, helpful friendly staff.

On arrival our room wasn't cleaned but understood this to be an oversight. Informed the staff on reception who immediately upgraded our room free of charge.

Close proximity to beach.

Not enough banana lounges around the pool. Not enough tables and chairs around the bar area for eating meals. Shop would close whenever they felt like it. You had to pay for beach towels! Room was not cleaned every day. Internet did not work in public bar area. No ala carte menu for dinner as advised on web site.

Snorkelling, wildlife etc

Food was not great, especially the restaurant food. Extend the bar menu!!

We like that the resort was set up nicely and easy accessible to us and all other visitors that were there, it was presented exactly as it looked on the website and photos, the rooms were fab and had a wonderful view from all of them, lovely and clean also,ours especially and we would request the same room again we enjoyed it that much, As we could only stay for the weekend, we are planning to come back next year and enjoy more of the island, And this was my first holiday, we was extremely impressed. the wild life was wonderful to look at and take pics of too. lots of activities to do we would never get bored there, We will be back soon :)

The staff in the food and beverage areas were quite rude and extremely unhelpful 3 in particular, as we are staying there we don't know everything!! do we?? or are we meant to know everything?? Some of your employees did looked miserable and made it less enjoyable, also waiting in line at the bar only to be overlooked many times and having to say yes i am here you keep serving other people and I'm polite and don't want to cause a fuss!!! he had a smile on his name badge, he could have used it on his face!! Amy was lovely and helpful always making sure we were all ok. THAT:'S SERVICE!!!! We would have liked to have access to beach towel not just the room towels) as we don't want to be travelling with bulky items such as beach towel, if they were provided that would be fab! The Birds seems to want to eat all of our human foods as people have gotten them used to it, the cockatoos looked sick and we should not be feeding them! you should provide bird seed for them as in hanging bird feeding features off the balconies, and have a No Feeding the Birds signs up for the cockatoos, Its wonderful to watch the Lorikets as we feed them, but there is nothing for the Cockatoos??

The staff

We spent a very nice stay in this resort, and found very good value for money. Accomodation is simple and confortable, and we also appreciated the large range of free activities such as tennis courts, bird feeding, coconut dehusking :), kayak, etc.

This is not directly related to the resort itself, but we found that the ferry from Hamilton Island airport to long island resort abnormally expensive (60$ one way per person for a 20min connection).

Alles dreckig! Alles kaputt! Kann ich gerne auch mit Fotos beweisen. Auf keinen Fall dort hin fahren!

Besonders die Lage in den Whitsundays ist wunderschön. Auch wenn das Resort alles andere als günstig ist, so ist es doch im Vergleich mit den anderen Resorts eines der günstigeren. Das Zimmer liegt in kleinen, zweistöckigen Häusern direkt am Strand. Das Ausleihen von Kanus, Schnurchelzubehör etc. ist am Strand möglich. Das Essen war ebenso wunderbar und abwechslungsreich.

Hohe Fähren-Preise um auf die Insel zu kommen (ca. 100€ für zwei Personen für 20 min Fahrt) Laute Klimaanlage. Leider liefen viele Klimaanlagen die ganze Nacht und sind genau auf die Meerseite hin gebaut, dort wo auch die Schlafzimmer liegen.

Keine Ahnung, mit welchem Bildbearbeitungsprogramm die Fotos vom Hotel und Strand gemacht wurden, aber mit Südseeflair hat das nichts zu tun! Schäbiger, dreckiger Strand, Zimmer sind sehr ungemütlich und klein, kein Comfort, Das Preis Leistungs Verhältnis stimmt vorne und hinten nicht!!

Lo que más me gustó fue el entorno natural en el cual está ubicado el complejo. También la tranquilidad y las opciones que brinda para esparcimiento (dos piscinas, kayaks, juegos para niños).

Las opciones de comidas que son muy limitadas en el lugar y la limpieza en el cuarto (la primera noche no nos hicieron el cuarto y las noches siguientes el baño siempre estuvo lleno de arena y las sábanas también). Tendrían que mejorar en este aspecto.

Smaller resort Friendly staff

Expensive food and drink. The general store charged double the price for the same thing we could buy at the supermarket at home.

Am zweiten Tag hatte der Zimmerservice einfach das Bett nicht gemacht

Die einzelnen doppelstöckigen Reihenhäuser liegen schön im Grünen. Sehr gut geeignet für Tierliebhaber:viele Tiere laufen/fliegen frei herum und kommen direkt an die Terrasse,Z.B. Wallaby-Familie(kl. Käguruh), viele exotische Vögel.Es findet eine tägl Vogelfütterung statt. Auch positiv :kostenfreies Internet im Barbereich (M.eigenem Laptop). Am Strand stehen kostenfreie Paddelboote zur Verfügung.

Es gibt keine Einzelzimmer,Alleinreisende müssen Doppelzimmer bezahlen.Die Anlage ist offenbar sehr alt,viele Bäder sind dementsprechend renovierungsbedürftig.Einige Häuser sind schon saniert.Das Personal im Zimmerservicebereich war sehr jugendlich U.unprofessionell,die Reinigung nur oberflächlich,Der beim Ankommen am Badboden liegende Schmutz vom Vorgänger war auch nach 5Nächten noch da. Die früher sicher sehr schöne Hotel-Außenanlage am Strand ist ungepflegt,Plastebecher liegen herum. Baden und Wassersport sind nur stundenweise möglich,da sich wegen des sehr flachen Strandes das Wasser bei Ebbe >100m zurückzieht und dann in ein Watt verwandelt. Für einen Badeurlaub nicht unbedingt geeignet.Außerhalb der Anlage gibt es aber auf der Insel außer ein paar Wanderwegen nichts Sehenswertes

Good location, very quite

Shop (incl. Tours agency) opens late in the morning and closes early, could be a problem if away on a tour day to book for instance islands transfers. Cleanliness could be improved.

We were able to cancel the rest of our stay .

Rooms Restaurant Bar Food Dirty

Beautiful location! Nice and relaxing. Nice walks with stunning views, beach rooms are located very nice, especially the ones away from the main buildings.

It is a little bit basic and old. Facilities are ok, but not very new. And you need to pay extra for a lot of the activities, like snorkling for example, and there was nothing to see in the water!
