Clean comfortable accommodation, handy for town and beach

Lack of kitchen facilities, not a problem for over night but for longer stay would have been.

Beds were very comfy and the room smelt nice.

Location good heated swim pool great, comfortable room, bed a bit hard & pillows but lovely & clean Room service lacking though.......

Room service not good, went out each am and came back at between 12 & 1 both days to the rooms not being made up, so first day did not get any service or clean towels tea/coffee. Second day we saw the maid outside the room at 1pm and when we returned so we asked her to make up the room as we wanted clean towels. Safe did not work - was locked.

Was very relaxing. Spacious and clean. Location was great.

Possibly some new couches and an extra couch in the 2bd unit.

Close to the centre of town

The staff were not friendly. The rooms were small and extremely noisey. They were not as clean as we would like and our friends had cockroaches in the wardrobe. We stayed there about 12 year ago and it was lovely. It has fallen back considerably over the years. It need total upgrading.

The rooms were tidy and spacious. Our two boys loved the pool as it was not that hot when we were there, so the pool was great, well maintained. Staff were generally friendly, including cleaning staff. The beds were really comfortable. The kitchen was well equipt.

Apartment 106 could do with a few soft furnishings as was a little echoy, a carpet mat in the sofa area perhaps? Would be nice to provide dishwashing detergent for the relevant time stayed. Stayed 9 nights, only got offered fresh towells on the 7th night. If I was the owner of the resort I would like to see more customer service on check out, ie, did you enjoy your stay?, We hope you come back again, thank you for staying with us. I liken this to when being served in a restaurant, after being served the meals, when a waiter will come over and ask if everything is okay, he probably knows is all okay, but shows that bit extra service/care. I think it makes a huge difference.

very noisy, could hear everyone talking in rooms next door and when in the pool, and even in the lobby downstairs

We were very happy with our stay and would come again.

Bit disappointed. Didn't really come up to expectations of a `resort' I.E. no restaurant, bar, room service, bare minimum of stuff in the unit.

We required a Hotel close to when our function was being held and this suited this purpose

We were upgraded to a error on your end with the bed situation. That was excellent service. The apartments were great, clean and spacious.

Not been advised the spa wasn't hot, either of them.

Beautiful beaches, beautiful restaurants, good clubs, movies, the Byron Bay movie Festival, lots of helpful, good humoured people around

Well, this time it was raining and it spoilt the surfing with dirty water etc, which of course wasnt fault of the Byron Bay so we did far too much drinking....

clean,close to town but still a quiet location

We arrived by plane and airport transfer so holidayed without a car and found the location of this hotel ideal. 2 minute walk from the main shopping strip and 5 minutes to the beach. We found the room very clean, spacious and loved the private balcony overlooking the pool, garden and tennis courts. The cleaning staff were excellent and very accommodating. We stayed for 4 nights but could have happily and comfortably stayed for many more.

The resort was easily found and close to shopping and eating places. Walking distance to where we wanted to go.

The carpet on the floor was still wet when we entered our room.

Rooms were a little small and the bedding was uncomfortable. bathroom could do with some renovation.

Friendly staff,excellent service, good value, I will stay at Lord Byron again.

The pool and the spa where a bit on the dirty side and needed filtering lots of foreign stuff floating around, like band aids, small plastic bag and other similar bits. Most could have been scoped out.

We had to pay to use the BBQs, 1 dollar is a little expensive when you usually only pay 20 cents. There was not enough knifes and forks etc in the room. Milk supply was not enough for coffee in the mornings.
