Loved being able to hand feed the king parrots. Lovely to see both male and female king parrots, crimson rosellas, kookaburras, cockatoos and other birdlife and eastern grey kangaroos one with joey. Fantastic escape from the busy life and time to enjoy the countryside and the bush.
Having to leave to come home and back to work.
Loved the wood fire and also air cond. bed was comfy enough. Lovely and peaceful with lots of bird life. Definitely would go back again
Nothing bad to report

When I booked this accommodation I assumed I was getting a cottage, for $190 for one night I was not expecting to be in a tent, it may be called glamping with the addition of a bathroom but it is still a tent! Poor value, will not be going back!
To get away from the norm of a hotel room was very cool. The outlook from the verandah was spectacular. The shower head and water pressure were very good!
Not so keen on the shower curtain, as opposed to a shower screen. Better heating in winter would be good. Summer would be very hot in the tents.
The location and style of accommodation really suited our intent for this stay. Looking our over the valley with the bird life at our balcony was wonderful. Be conscious that this is a very good quality tent which is permanently set up. It has running water, kitchen facilities and a bathroom and is set on decking up off the ground.
Not really a didn't like, but rather a be aware. The proximity of other tents means that you can hear each other to some degree.
Everything about the area and the cottage
No cooking facility inside the cabin but I can understand why as it is a tent and if people are careless they could burn the place down.
Feeding the cockatoos and hand feeding the parrots
The cockatoos, parrots and kangaroos were out in force and they weren't shy either! The kids absolutely loved it.
Although 'glamping', I remebered why I don't like camping - a little too exposed to the sounds of nature to get enoiugh sleep. At least we can cross camping off the kids' lists now :)
Beautiful setting, wildlife and fireplace, friendly hosts
Love this place, been several times and highly recommend it. Relaxing place to stay with comfy cottages and nature a step away. Winter warmth with the fire going and background views from the cottage, there is no reason to leave, just peaceful!!
Stunning views, cosy, great location and very helpful hostess :)
Really enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning. We highly recommend staying at Lorne Bush House and Eco Resort.
Nothing to dislike.

not much at all
Hosts were amazing, and over all wonderful experience. (Beds were so comfy)
Location - set in a forest with unobstracted view on it from terrace. Kids played hide and seek in forest just outside.
In a winter, it is not a comfortable stay. Heater may warm up tent but bathroom is ~ambient temerature. Price is quite stip; we'll be better of staying at a hotel for same money.
The setting was lovely beautiful birds all around
Had elderly father with us and weather wasn't great. Was just a bit too far from Lorne for us
We had a fantastic stay in Yabby Bank Cottage. Chris and Carol could not have been more helpful, the cottage was lovely with superb views, and the wildlife great fun. Kangaroos hopped past our balcony two evenings in a row, and we were visited by a wide variety of birds, the kookaburras being my favourite. We loved our time there.
we stayed in the tent/giant cubby house as my girls referred to it, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We will return with friends as it was so relaxing.
We stayed in the tents last sat with my family and my best friend and her family. We had a great time! The place was very very clean .. It had everything needed and more for a relaxing get away. The location was perfect, only 5 min drive from the beach. And the BBQ on our balcony came in good use! We usually stay in resorts and I found the tents to be bigger, cleaner and better then some of the accomadation we have paid triple for! We will defiantly be returning in the near future.
Nothing except for feeling sad for not been able to stay a little longer!
Location is far away from the town, on the website it said only 5 min to the town, but with mountain road, was difficult to drive, took us more than 15 min to the town. It was out of nowhere, been told there are kangaroo, for 4 days, we could not see any, on the website said there is yabbi farm, but it is very polluted. We are not happy with the propety, will not stay there again.
The location just outside of Lorne, the nature walk and the Yabby lake and all of the nature. The facilities within the cabin were great and Chris the owner gave us some really good advice on what to visit.
