Best Western Lorne Coachman Inn  

Room was comfortable with good use of kitchette good location to town centre and beach

That our child under 2 years of age was charged aud25.00 Per night is rather excessive. We did not ask for an extra bed but used the roll out provided only to be told at check out that there was an extra 25.00 charge per night as our under 2yr old was considered an extra person. Had we been told this or it had been stated on our booking confirmation she would have slept in our bed or we would have bought along her own sleeping mattress. I believe that 25.00 to clean bed sheets is unjustified as she has not used any excessive power or water. Managers descretion should have been used on this occassion, instead of 25.00 charge a 10.00 fee per night would have been more acceptable. Had we stayed 4 nights we would have had to pay an extra 100.00aud and this defeats the purpose of saving on accommodation discounts. This left a sad and sour taste on departure. We liked the property very much and would have stayed again however due to this excessive charge we would not stay there again or recommend this accomodation to family or friends.. From a management perspective it is a short term gain but a long term loss.

Excellent location

The water system, The water would go cold then hot and then cold again. It was annoying, otherwise everything was good. Thank you for having us.

Value for money. Walking distance to amenities. Clean and comfortable. Flat screen tv with Foxtel.

Made no attempt, to try and let us check in early, arrived there earlier than expected , and no where to go.??

Arrival was friendly and helpful

Cases up two flights of stairs,but the room then was fine.

Position, clean friendly staff.

Having to walk up 2 flights of stairs to get to room. Also their was no individual soaps, shampoo , conditioner and moisturizer.

The accomodation was comfortable tidy and very close to beach and the town ship.

Even if good for excersise the stairs were tiring. Also bar-b-que utensuils not enough.

A very enjoyable stay in a comfortable, well-located and well-equipped motel. Compared to other accommodation options in the area, this represented good value. Friendly and helpful staff contributed to our enjoyment.

Although there is a bbq area (which is pleasant and adequately equipped), we would have liked an alternative outdoor area in which to relax.

Terry and the other staff were fabulous. The room was clean and well appointed. Had everything we needed. The birds being feed each day was great. Would definetly stay again. Great value for money.

The stairs were quite steep.

Angela and Terry were very welcoming and helpful. Angela provided us with advice on areas that we wanted to visit, and Terry was equally helpful with directions for our journey when we left. The motel is very close to the beach, restaurants and shops which means that you can leave the car and enjoy yourself.

Location was very convenient to all amenities in Lorne.

We would prefer a king size bed, rather than a queen. That is all.

Very central to the facilities in Lorne that we needed for our stay

We were in Lorne for a family wedding.The friendly Proprietors who made us most welcolme, offerred us useful information concerning Lorne and places to visit.

The staff were very lovely and the location was very good.

The only thing I would say is the cost of the room was a bit pricier than i would have expected. But other than that it was a great place to stay in.

The hotel was absolutely great veryfriendly and close to all facilities in Lorne. Rooms were superb and ideal for our needs. Wish we could have spent more time there.

Really nice rooms, spacious. For the age of the motel this is one of the much better ones we have stayed at down the coast. Value for dollar. Dust free room, crisp sheets and towels. New carpet. Great little kitchen. Spacious corner shower. Peacefull, except for sound of wildlife which we loved. Situated at the start of Lorne and only a stroll to supermarket and shops. Friendly staff. Would definately reccomend.
