Rundown looking and has seen better days. Dripping toilet,mouldy shower and no mattress protector on the bed. Went to pay cash for my accommodation and was stunned that reception wanted an extra $150 as a bond incase a single business traveller trashed the room. Female receptionist was rude and abrupt. The back of the hotel faces onto a building site.

great central location, good cheap price, nice clean room, balcony with good view of city and bay. yeah thoroughly recommend this place, good budget accomodation.

The property is getting old. The price of internet access is scandalous. A property displaying 3 stars should have their own internet access provider.

Rowdy people go there and jumping on my balcony and banging my room door in the middle of the night.

Motel is very run down and needs a lot of work for the money paid for accommodation. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment, tv in 2nd bedroom nothing in main, curtains old need replacing and won't close properly. Staff come barging in to do room with 1 knock and still in bed.

Ok, something as simple as the lift, it was sooo slow and stinking hot and humid in there it was very very uncomfortable...but it's there for ease. The bathroom door was peeling apart, door frames very chipped, bathroom poorly cleaned and the sliding shower screen was cracked and almost fell out when sliding open/closed. Same $ for better accom very close by! But, I'd stay there again if nothing else was on offer for same price nearby

Many things..firstly..the bedding set up was wrong..instead of 2 singles there was a double and a saggy foam lounge fold out.The next day a rather irritated man delivered a single bed..and wanted to take away the couch! Then ..on a daily basis..various lights/fans and door locks failed.The Receptionists were very nice and polite and did do their best to assist. We were offered a room change but actually there were none available with twin beds. Reception was open late at night...wasn't sure if it should be 24hrs or not..no sign indicating this and others were also waiting to leave early in the day. The Kitchenette was sad..no mixing bowls..saucepans served the purpose though..a wobbly old frying pan..a very dirty hotplate..small cockroaches..lots of noise at night from the street below and the huge construction being erected next door...Wouldn't stay there again..have stayed in other cities for less with a far better standard!

construction site jus next door, lots of noise and dust. lots of red ants in the room, could not leave any food on tables or unwashed dishes over night

Pool in shade all day so not conducive to using Looks a bit tired.

I liked the fact it was close to the centre of Darwin, and had a nice view of the harbor.

Thought the floor needed a better vacuum.

Convenient central situation

Supposed to be an apartment but was only a hotel room with a few kitchen facilities in one corner. Grossly overpriced for what you get. Misleading advertising and description.

The room was ordinary, the whole place is old and run down, the staff are hopeless and the pool is rubbish.

Very comfortable accommodation at a good price with easy access to the heart of Darwin.

It was a little noisy with other guests arriving back late at night.

Very convenient location in the centre of Darwin. Unknown to us prior to our visit but has been there for many years. We enjoyed the balcony overlooking Knuckey street and surprisingly no traffic noise when the outside doors closed. Clean comfortable room and we hope to return for a longer stay next time in Darwin.

Location was good, with only a short walk to shopping and restaurant precincts. Staff were welcoming and obliging and fixed some shortcomings in our room like the absence of hotplates and toasters.

Disappointed that the apartment did not have a washing machine and dryer, though for a fee we could use shared appliances. Apartments are in need of a revamp but were kept clean and tidy.

An average older apartment well located close to the Mall. Small double bed (not a queen size) and the cane lounge was very uncomfortable. An attempt in updating with new carpets and big TV. Still dated and very basic, but staff friendly and helpful. Our room was next to the lift which was a disturbance during the night.

It was central to the food/entertainment district withing inner city Darwin.

Service was poor, hotel staff were unhelpful, fire alarms went off, random people walki h thru the venue. Poor faculties all round.
