With an 8th floor upgrade and river views it was a wonderful apartment. Everything was just lovely. thanking you There was only one girl on reception and she was "flat out". Being a public holiday I can understand that minimal staff are on.

The Oaks M on Palmer in Townsville is excellent quality accomadation at extreamly reasonable price. we go to Townsville every 3 months for 1-3 days and this will be our 1st choice to stay.

The lovely view from our room looking out over Ross River and out to the ocean. I would definitely stay at Oaks M again. On arrival I noticed that some of the cutlery and crockery were not really clean and I had to put them thru the dishwasher...not a big deal.

I love that you can park the car and walk to alot of restaurants. The city is a short walk also and the Strand and casino are within walking distance for those who like to take a stroll and admire the view.

Cleaning and reception staff were great. Car park was a bit tight. We were on the third floor and so had no view - river or Mt Stuart!! Bit dodgy down that end of Palmer St at night!

Doors had very noisy locks so every time the people in the next room left their room, the noise of the locks made us jump. Unpredictable complimentary breakfast at the bar next door.
