Oaks M On Palmer  

Location - we walked to resturants, shopping, bars and also wasn't that far to the ''strand''.. Price - we stayed 7nights and what we paid was very reasonable. Comfort - our room was very comfortable with all the amenities you needed for extended stays eg dishwasher,washing machine and dryer and also a normal size fridge not a little bar fridge. We also had a great view from our balcony. We would definately stay there again...

Could only say if you left the balcony door opened during the night it got a little noisy with the coal trains shunting in the early hours, although my hubby actually liked the sound, but no noise problem if you shut the balcony door...

Modern, clean nicely furnished apartment.

Staff was unfriendly and unhelpful.

The time waiting for a lift was beyond ridiculous.

The rooms were a bit narrow to allow wasy passage

The desk staff are very friendly and helpful.The cleaners are very nice and friendly.The room is very comfortable ,fully equipped, clean.

I asked for a room located on a floor as high as possible and with river or water view. However, I got a room on 3rd floor with a view of the carpark.

This hotel was located behind a bar and hard to find. There was a picture window in the bathroom that looks out over the living area

The central location

The rooms are spacious and beautifully appointed.

We were given à stuffy room with a great view on a wall. Absolutely not what was described. When we asked for another room, we were just told it was not possible full stop. When we said we would leave then the next day, the person at the desk just told us ok and did not bother and would not refund us the other night paid for, end of the story. So we paid two nights only to spend a bad one.

Oaks m on palmer is close to family that live in townsville plus there are many eating establishments within walking distance of the hotel.

The pillows are not very user friendly

Close to restaurants but not in the busy noisy area. Great view from the cityscape room.

We had ants in our room on the 6th floor! There was mould on the wall of the shower. Both were rectified when we mentioned them

I love the position and the metropole beneath has great food.

Nothing really liked it my family stayed there also recently. We all loved it.

Good location and easy walk to many of the sight seeing spots around town. We a were not disturbed by other guests and there was lots of parking available.

We stayed a week so would have liked the sheets changed at least once.
