Friendly and helpful reception staff. Although room was small, it contained a sink, fridge and microwave which was useful.

The staf was very nice and helpful.

We were in the hotel to relax and enjoy the city, but in our last day there they started making noise before 8 o'clock in the morning and we walked up early and it upset us a lot and we decide leaving the hotel after that.

Didn't realize there were shared bathrooms until I arrived. Maybe I didn't read the provided material carefully enough, but in the end it did not present itself as a problem.

unfortuately i booked the last room available and the noise factor made it a very uncomforable night... also the pillows were most uncomfortable

the room was noisy and the pillows uncomfortable. the exhaust fan in the bathroom was very dirty.

Friendliness of staff - very helpful. Location was excellent, within walking distance of most places. Nice having TV, fridge and microwave in the room. The complimentary coffee and tea makings were much appreciated.

Maybe a new carpet in the room?

The pictures on the website suggest new, fresh and modern rooms. This is not the case: the room was clean but old and a bit worn down. The fan could not cool down the room even when is was 23 Celsius outside.

You get what you pay for. It's not great, but not expensive either. Very friendly people running the accomodation.

It could have been a bit cleaner. Room as well as dishes and bathrooms.

I liked the fact it was a good price, and walking distance to some pretty awesome stuff...opera house nd bridge can be seen from botanical gardens! The bathrooms were so clean considering i stayed over xmas when there was a lot of people staying. Staff friendly and helpful..room could be a twinge bigger but im saying that as im trying to fimd something to comPlain about

Room a tad small, and our fan/light was a bit tempermental

The location is fantastic, the bed superb and very useful having a fridge and toaster in the room. However, describing it as boutique may have different connotations in England. Boutique to me means not just individual, but also of a very high standard. That is not the case here, my curtain rail fell on me when I closed the curtains on the first night, which was great for testing the reactions, but not suggestive of a classy room. That said, great value for Sydney and I would recommend to friends, with advice to pull back the curtains pretty carefully!

I liked how nice the staff were. I liked the rooms, decent size. Having a fridge, microwave and cupboard was good.

Too many stairs, especially if your right at the top. Didn't like that there were no bathrooms in the rooms, the bathroom was too small. But it was still clean and good.
