The location was perfect with short distance to beaches and center of Manly.

Booking was made for wrong room, three in a double bed was too squashy, no fly screen on windows(on the 2nd floor, very dangerous) like a sauna, fan useless. 20+ stairs up to rooms,smelt like wet dog!

Great place for a girls weekend

If you accept that this is actually a backpackers, then good value and great location

the damp rot and peeling paint, overuse of laminated signs throughout room, website hiding that it is backpacker accom.

Everything , extremly disappointed with the place in total the room was rough and in poor condition as were the other rooms i booked for friends . Would not EVER stay , consider staying or recomending this hotel to anybody .

Location was good.

Very dirty and in poor condition. Large spider web and large spider in window over bed. Bathroom door damaged and hanging off rails. Shower curtain dirty. Dirty dishes in kitchen. Bedside lamp had shade hanging off. No screens or locks on window, and signs instructing guests to keep windows closed to keep pigeons out. Would be very hot in summer - pedestal fan in cupboard was so encrustred with dirt and dust it could be a fire hazard to turn on. Lots of steps. Staff in backpacker hostel off hand and unfriendly when checking in.

Great price, great location, and definitely fits the bill for going on a holiday where the accommodation isn't the destination. This is not a determent to the Apartments. They are clean and presentable, and have fridges and everything but you aren't going there for the accommodation!

Had to ask to get new sheets and towels at one point, and that didn't happen but that was the only annoying thing.

booked in for 3 nights only managed 1 and luckily got money back.Very very noisy, no sound proofing, drunk abusive man in next room till 3am, very noise heard in every room then at 0645hrs gym opened and loud music started directly under room!! Room basic but imposible to get to room up several steep stairs if at all elderly/disabled or heavy bags.Staff aware of issues as several people complained

Nothing apart from the closeness to everything, terrible problem with cockroaches, and bed bugs, in eight days we had one towel left in the room for two people. Very dirty and not pleased

Apartments not attended. Had to walk 100m to a booking agent and wait 20 min to be served just to book in.

Location - just perfect; Lovely size of the room; All basic needs covered for a short stay; 24/7 access without any problems incl. late evening arrival; Clear messages re rules and expectations.

Bathroom had no hooks or shelves beside the sink and in the shower; the hair dryer didn't work

the gym below starting at 6.30am was very noisy an disturbing. 8.00am till 8.00pm would be far more acceptable for the comfort of guests

Very close to shops, cafe's and the beachs, ten minute walk to the ferry.

Needs updating, signs of damp on the walls, carpets badly stained, some noise from the gym and dance studios below.

Proximity to Manly and shops.

Bed gave me a very sore back and still recovering.

The location was very good and the people running it very helpful

on arrival our booking had not been confirmed ,. the good news staff took care of the problem right away with no fuss

Was a good price for this beachside location.

There are 38 stairs and no lift and I had heavy bags. Was a bit budget for my usual taste but clean and functional.

Excellent location within reach of beach, ferry, shops and buses. Regular towels change with bins emptied eveyday. I have stayed before and would recommend for people to stay here.

Would have liked to be aware of the gym/dance studio below, although it was quiet at an ok time. Generall diy needs doing in rooms.

Easy to find, with access to good public transport.

Lighting is poor, it could do with a bedside lamp.
