Very friendly and helpful female staff member. Upgrade to room with a bath without fuss. Excellent service.

Room service morning coffee was tepid.

The seaside location with ocean views and close proximity to gorgeous walking along the beachside and the corso with cafes restaurants and shops.

Very basic supply of tea and coffee with no fresh milk in fridge. Not even biscuits except a small packet to buy for $5! Was woken at 3am with a random electronic sound from the phone system so dismantled incase disturbed a second time!

Very late servicing of room at 4pm. Lack of sound proof. We were kept awake with noisy TV at 2am in the next room and took 3 calls to reception to rectify.

The general cleanliness of the room was not up to scratch, carpets were stained, sliding door dirty, tv dirty.Minimal grooming/bathroom items available. $9.00 for a bottle of water. Novotel Europe has free water in every room. Couch cover on balcony was dirty/stained.

The location, right on the beach boardwalk, was perfect. Manly is a lovely little town to visit, but it has a lot of restaurants and bars to cater to a varied clientel.

On Friday and Saturday nights, a lot of loud, young people come over from Sydney.

Friday and Saturday night noisy in function room below us.

I am writing to you regarding my stay on Friday 12th April. My husband and myself checked in at about 4.30 pm. We had a function to attend at 6pm. Unfortunately we were not happy with our stay. The bed linen had a hole in the base sheet. Also, the hair dryer was broken. I turned it on and it nearly caught fire in my hand. I was unimpressed. My safety was at risk. The hair dryer should have been checked before we checked in! Also, after 3 phone calls to reception and a half hour wait, I finally got another hair dryer! Needless to say we were late to the function. The next day when we checked out I did mention it again to reception. I hope they let maintenance know about the broken hair dryer. I am very sorry to say that we will not be staying with you again and will not recommend you to our friends. Regards Patricia O'Gorman

Buffet breakfast and included in price. Parking price was good. Clean easy check in Friendly staff. Location fantastic.

Air conditioning failed to work. Complimentary soaps/shampoo poor quality. Cheap.

Carpets looked grubby due to stains on them. Lounges really uncomfortable.

Location was superb.Staff were very friendly and efficient.

Dirty cleaners cloth in our basin when we checked into our room - not a nice welcome.Restaurant service was polite but with just three tables occupied it took 40 minutes for our main course.Both the fillet steak and king fish were very overcooked and almost inedible.At $38 each it was not a good look.Credit to the Hotel - they refunded the meal.Milk was not replaced in our room.Room service coffee ordered for 7 am arrived at 7.25.All up the location was perfect, the staff excellent but besides the above setbacks we thought the Novotel was "tired" especially the decor.

The location opposite Manly beach is fantastic. The rooms were modern, comfortable and clean. Nice gym and pool. Buffet breakfast was excellent! Friendlly staff.

Pay wifi and broadband when these days free wi-fi is more and more widespread and a great benefit to the business traveller.

Staff were great in all departments. There were alot of kids with the surf life saving carnivals and I didnt see any staff at all get annoyed with them. They were very accommodating. I know it is hard alot of tired parents and hypo / tired kids. Thankyou!!!!

The breakfast buffet was not up to standard. Hot food was cold and very oily. The bacon and hash browns were un etable. The cereal selection was minimal.We actually only ate the hot food on the Monday, it was a touch better than the weekend.
