Mantra on Frome

The staff were friendly and the room excellent. Security was very good. The location in Adelaide is very good for the central city.

Some road noise in early evening.

Staff always helpful and prepared to be patient and go just that little extra with a smile still on their face. This includes service personal as well as reception.

Only two lifts which serviced the staff and also the guests, these were slow to appear at the required floor level

Central location, rooms comfortable and Cerina on Front Reception was very friendly and always willing to provide that extra assistance when requested.

Overall it was a great place to stay. Its central location made all the shopping, Zoo, markets etc a short walk away. Buses at the door to get to the outer suburbs. Clean and tidy rooms. Great staff who were always smiling showing that they were enjoying there job. Highly recommended.

Friendly staff but did not appreciate policy on late check out... 30 minutes complimentary after 10:30 AM then $25 per hour there after. Not business savvy choice considering most rooms will not be occupied until 2PM if at all.

We stayed in a two bedroom apartment which meant plenty of room for our family.

The dishwasher didn't wash or dry dishes properly. The off-site parking was a bit of a pain.

The wonderful staff. Friendly, cooperative and willing to go the extra or just chat. Lucy is particularly lovely.

Noise in the roof above 509. It's shocking and cannot be turned off. Another nasty, was the top part of the duvet inner (Aussie Duna) was stained yellow and kind of off-putting. Its likely the cleaner hadn't seen it; so we won't be too nasty about that. We would recommend the Mantra on Frome. It is paying top dollar for what one receives. We have travelled a lot. Although the Mantra good, the facility is equal to an American 3-star. (Especially since we received no services xmas or boxing day).

The front desk was most helpful and friendly at all times.

It's a Mantra so you know what you are going to get,

It was within walking distance of Rundle Mall and there was carparking facilities on site.

Directly across Grenfell street from our room was a hotel with a band on the balcony. The music and noise from the hotel was very loud and went on until the early hours of the morning. This was very unpleasant trying to sleep. Problem could be solved with double glazing on the windows. Comment from my wife-: Only one bedroom had a mirror and it wasn't positioned where you could plug in a hair dryer and use the mirror. The other bedroom had no mirror at all and with 4 people trying to use one small bathroom and women trying to put on makeup and dry hair it was quite difficult. Problem could be very easily solved with mirrors in both bedrooms and placed near a power point for hairdryer etc use.

Loved the separate rooms in the apartment which gave us privacy from our children Enjoyed the balcony which also gave my husband his smoking option and the family the smoke free environment we appreciate Loved having access to a washing machine and dryer

The fact that on arrival I was informed that I needed to book a car park with the booking Having booked on last minute.com this was not displayed as an option Having stayed two years prior at the same hotel this was not the case so had not occurred to me to book

Really friendly and helpful staff, nice comfortable spacious room.

Our room was very nice in a lovely complex, and very handy to the venue we were attending for a family wedding.

Clean comfortable rooms

We arrived to find our lounge was wet from cleaning. The staff were very helpful getting new dry cushions. I would reccommend that thought be given to when furniture is cleaned if room is re booked that day.

We stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment exceptionally spacious, great value for money, comfortable, clean, close to the city centre & great views from every balcony.

Unfortunately the cafe at ground level isn't open on Sundays for breakfast, but a short walk to Rundle Street gives you an impressive range of eateries.
