Efficient, quiet air conditioning. Nice linen, comfortable bed. Great smelling soap. Very peaceful and quiet. (Solid walls) Lovely building. Nice decor. Clean. Great towels. Friendly staff Altogether safe, warm, quiet, friendly, comfortable and well priced.

Tv did not work (probably remote out of batteries) Jug lid did not close and so jug did not stop boiling and water went everywhere when I tried to pour it. Only one bedside lamp. No pen to fill out hotel's forms. Doors to 'kitchen' did not close. Coffee really awful: worse than usual hotel coffee. Jug of non-uht milk would be better.

The proximity to the Rod Lavor arena where i was attending a concert

The parking wasn't explained properly to me so i was confused when told to park in the parking when it was full. I didn't know I could park people in!

The mantra is a great spot to stay for the nearby concert,sport venues as they are all in walking distance.

Not to say that it's a dislike, but an update and refurbish would be nice for the mantra but I understand that would all come at a cost. The photos of the accommodation on your website are misleading as they make the rooms look nice and fresh and modern whereas the rooms and furnishings are very dated.. Very noisy air conditioning unit as well, sorry!

The hotel was well placed to get into centre of Melbourne. Staff were very friendly and helpful . Lovely swimming pool

Was not informed that you needed to request that the mini bar be restocked. The loungeroom carpet and cushions had considerable marks on them House keeping did not vacum the floor at all, after we has trodden grass back into the room... Shower was really poor.

Really bad service from the Taxi companies. We waited over half an hour twice and gave up on one occasion. This would stop me from staying here again.

The lady at reception had bad customer service. First she told me that next time I cant get two single beds in the studio apartment even though it clearly statesvthat you can on the website and I also called twice to check. Then she told me that I hadnt paid for the rooms yet and I need to pay for them even though I already paid months ago when I first booked, it was only when I got my bank statement online that she rechecked the computer and realised that I had paid. She just assumed that I didnt pay. Then after giving us the key and we are about to go up the Iift, she said we have to pay 100 dollars as a bond with credit card or 300 cash. I could notfind anywhere that this was written as a condition on thw website or when I booked. She obviously isnt trained well to work in her job. She had orange hair and there was an asian girl also at the reception with her. I forgot her name. She was there at approx 3pm on friday 16 february

Perfect for sport and music venue close to city attractions can be walked close to trams and free tourist bus friendly staff and a good breakfast at a reasonable price

No dinner and bar Sunday/Mondays had to park at another hotel

On check-in was hit with a 2% credit card fee ??? what a rip off... The Queen size bed was 2 single beds pushed together.. and I have to say the hardest bed I have ever slept on.. The shower alcove full of mould and very dirty...
