The location was good. It was very quiet.
The whole park is looking run-down. The cabin needs maintenance (doors binding on the jambs, torn vinyl on the floor, damaged flyscreens, very limited storage and hanging space in the bathroom for clothes, towels, toilet gear). The roads within the park are like goat tracks apart from near the entrance.
the staff were nice the place was peaceful and easy to get to. the surrounds were clean.
there were parts of our cabin that needed a really good clean like the windows and skirting boards also the bathroom had mould.
roof leaked during rain at night had to move one of us to another cabin reception not available a lot of the time despite times given in info pack
location staff well equiped
leaking roof cabin # 7 wet smelly carpet next to bed we had to be moved to another cabin on the last night, couldn't stand the damp mouldy smell , very bad for asthma. Also TV didn't work. I will be very reluctant to use booking.com again. You should check your accommodation listings and ensure they are of reasonable standard.
I booked through booking.com, paid in full for 6 nights stay when I checked in, I had a family emergency and had to check out at 1am on my third night... Despite contacting the office ASAP and booking.com over a refund of remaining 3 nights i didn't receive a single cent refund or cabin/park credit for my remaining three nights. I felt so ripped off. Never staying again! So dissapointed!
A good place for few days stayed.
The bathroom/shower space is even too small for an short and slim Asian girl. Room space arrange can be better.
Quiet, handy location to township and surrounding national parks. Like the idea that it is pet friendly although we did not take our dog. Other campers considerate of others with their own dog's behaviour. The air-conditioners were a must as the weather was extremely humid. Local bakery had v. tasty small pasionfruit tarts and the pastry was to die for.
The bungalow was v. roomy and comfortable. v. 70's decor and needs new carpet and window coverings and a good refresh. Could be a lovely Bungalow with some time and attention spent.
the whole thing was good they give you everthing you needed
comfortable cabin, nice surroundings
only a kettle, no other coffee device
We stayed in cabin 1 very clean, very private, overall very good experience
no pool was surprising
Forget the TV.Unwatchable
Wifi had a limited range
Quiet, clean, comfortable, spacious, walk to shops, value for money.
Nice quiet well set out and relaxing only thing missing is a pool for the kids. We will be back and maybe with the dog he would like that also
No negative comments
No wifi TV didn't work too well
size of cabin - nice and clean comfortable bed, good hot water
no soap holder in shower and needs a second towel rack
close and handy to the locations we visited, Mapleton Hall (family reunion) Mapleton Hotel (where we had our evening meal.
I can't rate Facilities as we didn't use them. ditto for Kitchen facilities. The spare bed! was a bit had according to my mother.
Very quiet and peaceful Plenty of room and cupboards
Quiet, central location, bush setting, easy to find, generous basic supplies (tea, coffee, dish washing liquids etc) clean, affordable
Cost effective accomodation in Mapelton
Definitely the surroundings, the great outdoors!! 2 The clean bed linen and the colour combination of the white and lime green. 3 The kitchen was well equipped. 4 Nice shower with hot water. 5 nice big towels. 6 A comfy couch. 7Pleasant pictures on the walls
The outside folding chairs were too dirty to use. 2 The painted walls were very poorly done. 3 The inside of the wardrobe in unit 2 can sure do with a spruce up.
the cabins had character and were quiet
we unfortunately had a really hard bed
