Hear the guest upstairs walking around
Very clean and well presented. Close to lots of food. Bus stop outside for easy ride to Hobart.
Bedhead lamps, poor choice and placement. Banged headIif sitting up in bed. Had to move bed 2' to the right. Minor issue, but worth resolving.
Location, easy to find, friendly staff.
The room was very dated. The shower was inside a very high sided bathtub. Carpet was stained and we were on the second floor with only stair access.
We enjoyed our stay at Martin Cash. The reception staff were lovely, smiley and helpful. The room was comfortable and good value. The motel is well located for visiting tourist sites by car and also is handy to a bus depot.
No comfortable seating, and bathroom arrangement leaking shower pipe from room above over electrical light fitting.
Staff were friendly, helpful & obliging.
Nice staff Comfy room Close to food and other stores Great Customer parking
No hot plates so you can't cook a steak. But you do have a kettle and microwave so it's not that bad.
Staff was friendly and helpful. Cheap rates was appreciated considering it was a Friday night where everywhere else has boosted up their price. Everything was clean and was in working order despite some facilities are probably quite old. We would stay again.
Room could use a bit of soundproof I guess - been disturbed by the noise of special cuddles coming from next door during sleep, makes it hard for on-the-run travellers who needed to get up early the next morning.
We needed a place close to the DEC. Martin Cash is situated close to shops and food places. The service is professional and excellent.
Location is very good to everywhere you need to go.
Bed lamps are not good to lay in bed .
Close to Hobart and surrounding towns
Curtains wouldn't close properly. Most power points, heater and fan didn't work
closed to supermarkets and downtown.
- stayed at the room #20 for 3 nights, heard some noisy sounded like "Got you" starting from mid-night 3 a.m. till morning for every night I stayed there.
value for your dollar, clean sheets , friendly staff. no issues.
the staff were very helpful and friendly
where the kettle, toaster etc were situated
Didn't expect too much for the price but we were pleasantly suprised. Easy after hours check-in/room was a decent size/linen & bathroom very fresh and clean/plenty of off-street parking. Carpets a little stained and dated but not really a drama.
Everything was good - no complaints.
Friendly staffs and good service. Nice room and comfortable bed. Great breakfast box delivery to room.
The sink in the bathroom is quite low
I would like to have recxeived " What is on in Hobart"
Price was good and your staff were very well mannered.
Smokers trayoutside the door, carpet a little long in the tooth.
comfy bed good kitchen ,easy to find.
some traffic noise, curtains need an up date.
Very central for our visit - have stayed here several times before and have been very satisfied
Everything was clean and well set out, was a relaxing room to come back to after a 14 hour shift lugging stuff around. I will definatly be heading back next time i need to stay in derwent.
The only real issue i had was that on the last day the locking nut on the tap fell off but that was easily screwed back in besides that it was a really good room.
Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent, firm bed with soft bedding. Good pillows! Packed continental breakfast included. Reasonable price for city motel.
Decor very dated and tired (for instance, hooks missing from curtains, 1970's louvre doors on cupboard). Shower base about 300 ml off the floor and rust in base - extremely difficult to get in and out of. Also 3 part sliding glass shower screen not properly connected.
Price Comfy bed
I booked an executive Queen room because I wanted a space that was a little more than a normal basic motel room and this room satisfied that need. The room was clean and comfortable and had everything I needed for a couple of days. My room was at the back of the property so was quiet and not affected by the traffic noise from the busy road out the front. The heater was able to heat the room to a comfortable level and after a long day at work it was fantastic to be able to have a fabulously hot shower with excellent water pressure. The staff were very friendly and helpful. When I couldn't get the TV to work they were happy to come and show me where there were additional power saving switches that needed to be used. My room price included breakfast boxes which were adequate but the room service menu looks reasonable priced although I didn't feel the need take that option.
