The location is excellent. The rooms need a significant amount of maintenance work done. This appears to be long overdue and would be a factor in my decision to stay there again. |

great location near the beach in coogee with lots of restaurants right outside the door! very functional rooms with washer/dryer and kitchen.... check out time is at 10 am...very early for a family with kids... |

Great location. Close to beach, places to eat and shops. Room temperature. There was a requested not to lower room temp below 19 which was too hot, this was rectified by opening window. |

We stayed at the hotel to attend a funeral at Kingsford..the location was very convenient. We were impressed with the cleanliness.. our only complaint would have been the pillows but this seems to be the case wherever we stay...on the whole...excellent |

Better than some reviews, very helpful staff Exorbitant AU$12.95 an hour internet charge, imposition of 1.5% credit card surcharge (not mentioned on booking.com , but hotel did however waive it when I complained, so ok in the end) |

The location and that they were offering good value for money when clients are paying special rates. The doors are constructed in such a way that when they close, they slam and make noise. |

It was a very clean and tidy hotel. Very handy to the Coogee Beach and the shopping center of Coogee. An easy bus ride to Sydney center. Good room with a little balcony. Lack of staff training at Reception |

The hotel was in a great location and the room was pleasant with lovely private courtyard. Staff were very helpful and friendly. I'd stay at Medina again. The amenities were excellent for a studio apartment. On my second night the smoke alarm beeped every minute, all night long as it had a flat battery, keeping me awake which was unfortunate as I was at a training course all week and needed to be rested. Hotel staff changed promptly after I reported to reception, but I received no apology or compensation for interrupted sleep. On check-out, staff tried to charge me for a bottle of water which I never had from the mini bar. The room was extremely hot 22 degrees at night in winter even though I didn't use heater. I had to resort to a/c to bring temp down in room. Doona was very heavy weight with no alternative except what resembled a single dog's blanket in the wardrobe. |

Coogee and Sydney are fabulous locations for a weekend away. Information on hotel facilities was non existent. For example, simply getting the TV to work took half an hour. When advised, hotel staff did not seem to care and did not offer to help. Room had spider webs, plasterboard debris and was not clean under the bed. |

I stayed with my partner & because we were 2 women I guess they presumed we needed single beds, would have been nice to been asked the question & not presumed. That was disappointing since the hotel is not a cheap one. |

The location as it is very close to the beach, and the beds are very comfortable.Have stayed 4 times this year prior to starting a uni course at UNSW and service and rooms have been consistant. Also liked express check out whereby you can just leave the ksy in the room. |
