Location was excellent, hotel very quiet, we were on 12th floor and staff very friendly and helpful. The shower over the bath I did not care for and water pressure a bit slow but that would not deter me in booking with the hotel again. |

Close to good restaurants on South Bank. Good hotel Wi-fi should not be charged- especially when free wi-fi is available at many cafes. |

The Medina offered everything we required, comfy bed, convenient location, kitchen with all appropriate utensils and secure luggage hold (due to early flights arriving and late flight out). Not being made aware until last minute that I would have $100 from my account under suspension for 5 days after our stay. Not convenient when we were not expecting to have to be without that money for a time. |

A very good standard of accomodation close to the CBD. Gym was a bonus. The smoke detector was set to an extremely sensitive setting which caused a little embarrisment while cooking breakfast. |

The Spacious 1 Bedroom Apartment was comfortable for two people. All Facilities were excellent and we didn't want for anything further. We barely spent much time in the room however it was nice to know that we had somewhere decent to rest our weary heads. The Housekeeping service was very limited. Bed not made properly. Nothing cleaned or wiped down during stay, however Mother is a 5 Star Housekeeper and picked the bones. |

The pool upstairs. It would have been nice to have access to chess an or backgammon from reception to take up to our room. Also on both occasions when going to use the sauna it was not activated and l did not have the time to wait for it to heat up. |

My partner and I loved everything about it, great size rooms, amazing bed. Ithe pool area was great, perfect relaxing weekend! The shower was very below average, even my partner agreed! Because it's so light coming out, it feels cold even if it's hot! |

We love that it is close to everything and the staff are very friendly We have stayed at the Medina before and were very happy with our room (203) - althought during our second stay we were put in room 1214 which had a blacony facing a block of apartments which seemed to have young back packer type residents who were continuely standing at their windows looking into our room. It was annoying to say the least as we couldn't go out on the balcony in comfort and we had to keep the drapes pulled at all times to have some privacy. I was actually quite disappointed. |

The room was nice and the restaurant next door was excellent! I also liked that we were able to use the gym and pool. I was completely unaware that the money I payed on check in for my two nights stay and $100 bond would be held for 5 days! If I had have known this I never would have stayed there. My bank accound was debited twice and it took 5 days for the first amount to be released. My bank account was in negative and that to me was unreasonable! A staff member also assured me they would call me back to explain all of this and I never received a call. I will not be staying again. |

Very helpful, efficient and friendly staff. Very attractive, modern decor, yet had a nice 'homely' feel. Very handy location. Transport just outside the door. Overall very good. The only thing would be the lack of blockout curtains in living/lounge area of suite. However, on mentioning this to reception staff, they informed us that heavy curtains are at present being organised for all rooms. |
