Medina Grand Darwin Waterfront  

The staff are excellent with people skills, courtious and professional.

I was not pleased that there were over charges for items not used, such as a telephone call, a couple of juices from the refrigerator and an extra charge added to one night in middle of stay period. I do not think the staff at the desk made an error.

The Medina Grand was very clean and comfortable to stay very relaxing by the pool overall excellent stay, would advise others to stay.

Location

No free Internet available. Computer downstairs took the money but didn't work properly. Paid for Internet in the room but was extremely unstable on my iPad.

Location and facilities, gym and pool, room excellent, staff most helpful

Fantastic location. Easy walk to town and great eateries at the wharf or surrounding area. Wave pool and man made beach straight out the front. Fantastic view of the harbour. Would definately stay here again.

The fresh atmosphere and exellent beds. The fact that staff helped us out with all the requesrts that we had. Also the staff at the Vibe restaurant is really down to earth and helpfull.

The fact that we had to ask a couple of times for things, like the right remote for the television. Glasses that were not pressent and the minibar that was not stocked, but that we had to pay for in the end.

Location and price, close to everything, and affordable

Only that there is no porters - makes it hard when you have a lot of luggage

The location was in an upmarket area of darwin which only offered relaxation and superb dining choices,this was ideal for me for two nights but not any longer as it was a fair walk to the city proper in the heat even if it was only ten to fifteen minutes.

I had a small issue with breakfast,that being my table being cleared while I was still participating in the buffet on offer. This was quickly rectified by a more senior and experienced staff member and the breakfast became complimentary.also a complimentary drink voucher was offered on checkout which was settled the night before a 4am departure.

The location was convenient. The atmosphere was relaxed and quiet. The staff were very courteous and attentive. My visit was unfortunately very short due to business requirements. It was my first visit to Darwin, and I would be very happy to stay again - next time during the winter with my husband for liesure - we would more than likely take advantage of the restaurant, pool and spa.

I was impressed and happy with the motel. I liked the location, cleaniness, friendly staff and facilities. I ordered a meal from the old menu but was given a compleimentary bowl of chips as it was not on the new menu!!! Would book again if I went up there for holidays!! Anne

Everything! Helpful staff, great location, fantastic value for what you oay! A winner at every level. Will definively be back there and recommend it to others too.

I liked the location, it was close enough to the city centre and near the water. The best of both worlds

I don't think the staff knew enough about the area we were staying in. When we asked questions about restaurants the staff did not know much about them, we had to walk around and find out about things ourselves.
