Medina Grand Darwin Waterfront  

It's a great location, quiet and relaxing. Close to the small beach and wave pool - yes I used both. Close to great restaurant's on the wharf - wow. A very short walk to the city and shopping centre. It's a perfect location. Very safe. The room was a good size - appreciated

The Cafe is as it says, just like a Cafe. I expected a nice dining room to relax, eat and drink in. Not so. The menu was very poor indeed. I had to look elsewhere after my first experience there. The beds are too firm, in fact hard. The Gym was closed due to water damage - well this happens. The Mini bar is far too expensive.

Fantastic location. Easy walk to town and great eateries at the wharf or surrounding area. Wave pool and man made beach straight out the front. Fantastic view of the harbour. Would definately stay here again.

The room was comfortable and modern with a great layout, and the staff were lovely.

When I booked the premier view one bedroom apartment, I was expecting a very good view of Darwin Harbour, but since we were on the first floor, the trees were in the way and subsequently the view was extremely disappointing - especially because you're paying more to get a view. The air conditioning was very temperamental, and in the folder in the room it didn't have an explanation on how it worked (which it should) and we had a lot of trouble with it (it stayed around 28 degrees a lot - not between 21 and 26 like it says in the folder) and only got it to work a couple of times at our desired temperature.

Length of hallways, distance from lifts to some rooms, espeacialy is carring heavy belongings.

We had a one bedroom apartment that we loved. It was very well equipped, really everything you need and more. Nice design and very clean.

The breakfast was disappointing and overpriced. Not a good value. They advertise it as a sensational breakfast buffet but the selection and quantity of food are very limited. Compared to similar style hotels it was very weak. For nearly 30 dollars I expected a lot more.

The hotel was very comfortable,clean & very well appointed.The staff were most helpful & very pleasant.Location wise it was excellent ie close to the city centre & close to the wharf area with all the shops & pool etc.We will stay at The Medina next time we are in Darwin.

I liked the location, it was close enough to the city centre and near the water. The best of both worlds

I don't think the staff knew enough about the area we were staying in. When we asked questions about restaurants the staff did not know much about them, we had to walk around and find out about things ourselves.

The staff were great ,my wife has a disablity and they could not do enough for us ,all so the motel was close to every thing that we wanted to see and the surroundings were very relaxing

This hotel is poorly maintained and operated. The rooms are rundown and dirty ( I changed rooms several times before finding one marginally clean). It is far too expensive for the poor quality and does not compare to other medina's. It is significantly understaffed causing delays for check in and out and breakfast. There is a problem with mold in the rooms as well as insects. Also they claimed not to have received my booking or payment from booking.com when I arrived this has never happened to be before for any of the many hotels around the world that I have booked on your site.
