Novotel Melbourne On Collins

Big beds and lots of room for my girlfriend and I to have a few days shopping and sightseeing. Most hotels don't cater for two girlfriends travelling together, except with small single beds - Yuk!

No. Staff courteous and helpful - esp when we arrived with shopping and bags and had to go straight out to a function. Staff took bags up to our room. Very sweet!

Quietness, central location, wonderful breakfasts, spacious amenities

Room airconditioning didn't work properly

Quite nice hotel, good location.

Although quite good not quite as flash as some others in similar price range. Noise easily heard from nearby rooms.

The room was comfortable and the location excellent. Breakfast was very good, as was room service.

The range of products available in the bathroom was very limited and the toilet paper quite rough.

The kids loved the little teddy's and chocolates! And we liked the ease of everything.

Our room seemed to be quite hot and hard to get the right temperature for sleeping.

We were in the city for a show and the location was excellent. We elected to use room service for teh evening meal to ensuer taht we dined in time for our show. The meal was excellent.

Based on the room rate, the additional daily rate for parking was unexpected

It was comfortable, quiet, clean & convenient for our stay, with everything at your doorstop. We will stay at this hotel again when in Melbourne.

Location is second to none! Incredibly central location to city shopping, trams, train station, cafes etc...

They were undergoing refurbishment - so there was construction noise in the day - but staff were obliging in relocating our room. This was probably the reason we got such good room rates.

Extremely good staff, nothing was too difficult for them - it's a pleasure to see staff smile while helping.

Just bad luck that the pool was being refurbished - but we could barely hear the noise and it didn't start until 0800 - not a problem

Central to CBD and that is good.

Because we come from the country we have to bring our car and were shocked when we went to collect it cost us $35 a night, total $70, this sure puts a hole in the pocket which was not expeected,surely we could pay less seeing staying at the hotel. Not fair really.

The hotel is located right in the centre of Melbourne which was very convenient. The consierge was most helpful.

On both Friday afternoon and Saturday afternoon we requested ice be sent to our room, and on both occasions it did not arrive, this was dissapointing. In addition the advertised happy hour in the bar is only on selected drinks, this was not advertised or conveyed to us until after we ordered our drinks.
