Novotel Melbourne On Collins

The whole of the 'Australia on Collins' complex was beautiful with the elaborate Christmas decorations. The Novotel happy hour in Michel's bar was exactly that...a very pleasant, happy time.

The room temperature was very warm...difficult to sleep... and took a long time after temperature control adjustments for it to cool.

The location of the hotel was fantastic, close to all we wanted. The room was of a generous size and the breakfast delicious and plentiful.

The pillows were either too thin or too thick. But, hey, nothing is as good as your own is there!

No free wifi access.

I was a little disappointed that after booking so far in advance, we were still only on the first floor with absolutely no view apart from a concrete slab. For the money we paid for 3 nights accomodation, there was nothing that stood out to us and not even breakfast was included. We have stayed at several Novotels and have always rated them highly, however, we would probably look at staying somewhere else on our next trip to Melbourne.

Location and the staff, would recommend the Novotel on Collins to friends and family.

Pillows were to soft or to hard. This is my only compaint.

Located in the center of the city. It's a business hotel - making it's possible for our early check-in. Staffs are nice and friendly.

Clean,beautifully presented, nothing was too much trouble. A great place to stay!

The Staff were friendly. Our room was clean and the bed comfortable.
