Sofitel Melbourne On Collins

Bij Sofitel kun je het beste van het beste verwachten, dat bleek ook tijdens m'n laatste verblijf. Kost wat, maar dan hebbie ook ECHT wat!

The bed was amazing, the views spectacular, staff were very polite and very helpful.

A little bit of sand in my mushrooms at breakfast time and the bathroom does not have an exhaust fan but other than that everything was perfect!

The decor of the hotel was amazing and there was a definite wow factor when you arrived in the big ornate lobby with high ceilings. The central atrium was also a spectacular feature.

Although the hotel may be at the 'Parisien' end of the Collins Street and it may be owned by a French group, the 'bonjour' greeting from staff was a little contrived if not pretentious.

Being 7 months Pregnant I would have to say the bed and the soft pillows were fantastic!

Twin room - beds were split king bed - not at all comfortable, sloped badly to one side, most disappointing for 5 star hotel. If hotel offers twin single accommodation beds should be suppplied as singles and not split kingsize to avoid this problem. Would not recommend twin stays.

Get location. Excellent staff and service.

Convenience of location. We were going to the australian open

the hotel reception staff and room service answering. Plus the fact wei had to pay $3 for ice when in fact we were using and paying for bar frrige prices. Ordered room service and never received meal nor an apology

the location is fabulous for our particular stay,the cafe bar met our requirements very well as did the room

Wir hatten ein Club-Zimmer. Sehr grosse, schöne und moderne Zimmer mit jedem erdenklichen Komfort, sogar Nespresso-Kaffeemaschine. Bequeme Betten. Atemberaubender Ausblick aus dem 49.Stock auf Rod-Laver-Arena und weit über Melbourne. Angebot in Club-Lounge war auch gut. Wären gern länger geblieben.

In Club-Lounge werden "Schlipsträger" leider etwas besser behandelt. Ungenaue Auskünfte durch Concierge.

客室が３６Ｆ以上にしかないため、とにかく眺望が（特に夜の）素晴らしかった。

このクラスのホテルなら、やはり、スリッパ・歯ブラシは常備しておいてほしい。また、プラズマテレビのリモ- コンが最初は見あたらず、あやうくフロントに電話する直前までにいったところで、ベッドテーブルの上の卓上- タッチパネルリモコンを発見。これは、テレビのみならず、部屋の調光も全てこなす大変ハイテクなものなのだ- が、これにすぐに気付く人はいないと思うので、何らかの説明書きがあれば尚良かった。
