Staff were very friendly and helpful. They all seemed very happy. Enjoyed the fact that it was so close to everything and you could walk most places. We ended up having an upgrade as our original room was small and stuffy. The staff (David) were ever so helpful Our original room was a little on the small size. This does seem to be a bit of a problem when you book on line. Though I did not select the room with a balcony originally |

The proximity to M.C.G and Rod Laver as well as Treasury Gardens and East Melbourne. My room had no view, apart from air conditioning plant and a brick wall , the carpets were very stained, but the worst feature was the bathroom, much better to have a shower recess than a wet, cold, plastic curtain blowing in against you in the six inches of space between the cutain and the grab rail over the bath. The bathroom is far too small |

A good location, the staff were helpful, it had good breakfast facilities, and the rooms were quiet. Room very dated, ours was too busy compared to sons similar room. The bathroom badly needs refurbishing. Internet access poor. |

Arriving late it was great that the restaurant served meals until 10pm. The staff were great, very welcoming. |

Comfortable, not over-expensive, and the position in Spring Street where my room overlooked Treasury Gardens - very attractive position. Would have preferred the bar (and its noise) further away from the dining room. |

The room cost of $200 was expensive. The room was small, right next to the lift - bathroom was dated, dirty and small. The bed was two single beds joined together and you could feel the gap |

Friendly efficient staff.who made us feel welcome.Even the room attendent was polite when she passed us in the corridor. I work at Conrad Jupiters on the Gold Coast. You compared very well. |

I thought the staff very helpful and friendly, easy access to all amenities, shops restaurants gardens, tram services etc. would stay there again and would recommend to friends. |

the staff were very helpful . Found David very good with help. The bar was not manned enough. One barman to about15 - 20 customers. I need fresh air in my rooms a window or balcony room would have been better. |

I had asked for additional pillow and only got a pillow case. Also on the day we arrived at the Mercure our room had no towels. Air conditioner also did not work very well (heating in main area). |

In the city block and across the treasury gardens Once booked, we could not cancel the booking. Also the way the cashed the full payment was cashed as soon as the booking was made. |
