The staff we dealt with were extremely friendly and efficient. Our room was upgraded which was a pleasant surprise and added to the overall enjoyment of the Mercure experience. We came back to the hotel very late and very hungry - the room service food choices were very limited - only 2 varieties of pizza was available. The night porter on duty was very nice and apologetic and the pizzas we ordered were delicious - it was only the lack of choice. |

I like being relatively closed to the city center, 20mn by foot; and the availability of a free bus on the hour to be driven to and back from the city. |

the staff was helpful in arranging tours, explaining the amenities and attractions found around cairns. The bathroom was small and the shower curtain kept flapping around while taking a shower. Perhaps a heavier liner would stop this problem. |

Quiet, Comfort room with balcony. 24hrs staff attendance at counter, free pick up service from/to city place Internet access from room should be free with quota usage. It is ridiculose to charge 55 cents per minutes. You have the internet facility builtin rooms but if no one use it because of the fare set, it is a waste of your hotels investment. |

It was peaceful and spacious with lovely views of the hills The bed was too soft and the light from the corridor made the room too light |

It was central. The staff were very friendly and they have a courtsy bus which is great if you want to go out in town for a few drinks and not drive or pay for a cab. The rooms could do with a face lift. We had a plensent stay. |

I found the staff very helpful regarding booking tours. The rooms were well equipped and bright. I thought the room needed a fresh coat of paint. The resturants were expensive with little choice of food available. |

I like most the shuttle bus sevice! It's really useful. Appreciate your staff's nice help! The color of sofa, bed cover looks old, also the corridor floor doesn't look so clean. |

We only stayed one night and got in very late but all of our family were very impressed with the comfort of the beds. A girl who was working the register in the breakfast section was very polite, helpful and happy. One slight complaint was the room was too light too early in the morning. The curtains/blinds didn't block out enough light. Our flight arrived very late and it would have been nice to sleep a little longer. |

The staff were great and the room was excellent with great views! It was close to everything we wanted to do and see. I would definately return for another stay! Great breakfast selection! And the bus service provided was very helpful. The shower wasn't that great! |

I loved the view that I had and the room was excellent I probably knew this but I was diappointed that breakfast was not included in the price and I had to pay extra. Their internet was very expensive. |

I found all of the staff very friendly , welcoming and efficient. Special praise goes to Rob McKenzie and his reception staff - I thought they were all brilliantly helpful when answering all of my questions. I would certainly recommend the hotel to others. |

Close to everything. The cleanliness of the room was dissapointing. The staff could have been a bit nicer, they were not very friendly. |

They are not in the CBD, but they have the free shuttle bus from 10am to 10pm to get to CBD. And also very nice staff. Our room has a great view. |
