I have travelled to a number of locations and have used book.com previously as they are excellent. I read all of the reviews for Sydney including the Meriton Serviced Apartments Pitt Street which seemed to be the best suited for us. And indeed it was as it is the best value for money in Sydney by far! Fantastic location, excellent facilities, and modern and well-planned room designs. Everything was in top working order and staff were responsive and friendly. One of the best value for money and quality serviced apartment complexes in the world.

Great staff at reception and on telephone making arrangements for family with a toddler. The 2 bedroom apartment was fabulous. Lots of room, a good layout, thinking of a 3 bedroom apartment next time as another baby is on the way. My own place is too small now to have my son and his family to stay in Sydney & this was a great solution. Using the website to book the apartment was a bit daunting. The initial confirmation referred only to "a room" when I was trying to book a 2 bedroom apt. In the end I just risked it and hoped for the best!

My partner and I stayed at the studio apartment for the night away from home and it was relaxing. It was a small room but the money was worth spending. Unlike some other hotels, it took so long to check out of the hotel because they had to check the room to see if we had to pay extra (which we didn't). Meriton didnt have their own room service, they had 4 or 5 menus from resturaunts outside however the choices were not that great... We also had to pay extra money to get it delivered. I suggest customers to buy food themselves from outside. Saves you a lot.

I absolutely loved the reception staff. They were friendly, helpful and always professional. The room was well appointed and very comfortable with plenty of room for my belongings, and I brought a lot of stuff!! I was very impressed with the design of the bathroom. It was beautiful!! Also, I loved having a small kitchen. The location was so convenient!!! Very close to all types of transportation and a grocery/variety store. Also, I felt very safe. I will definitely want to stay there again. There was so much value for the price. I can't say enough positive things about this location. Really!!!! Honestly, I cannot think of anything bad!

The location, the size and layout of the apartments, its quietness despite its location, very clean. Will definitely book again. The lifts are a bit of wait at peak times but to be expected.

Our apartment was brilliant. Really well equipped. Everything we needed. The location was close to everything and the staff were really helpful. Would certainly without a doubt recommend these apartments

I loved that it is clean and spacious, and close to the city center. All other places are easily accessible by public transport. I would definitely stay at the Meriton again!

I didnt like the how our balcony was locked due to it being a weekend policy for meriton apartments. I can understand this being a good idea for certain situations ie large weekend parties especially with younger people but found it unfair for just my partner and i who stayed in the room and would have enjoyed some time outside during out stay.

Very disappointed! Poor room service!, The hotel was still dirty when we checked in, and we found hot chip on the floor under the table and in the couch as well and sticky old lollies under the curtains. The air con only cooled the living room not the bedrooms making it too hot to sleep. Dishwasher doesn’t even wash the dishes and no cleaning products were replaced (E.G. Landry detergent, dishwashing liquid) very unhappy as I was entraining guests from overseas who actually laughed at the hotel condition. Who gave it 5 stars??? Because it defiantly doesn’t deserve it.

Comfy beds comfy pillows spacious large towels Staff service excellent. When I informed reception that one of the bedrooms had no airconditioning they fixed it straight away. Clean and tidy Cannot access balcony on Friday & Saturday evenings. Airconditioning shuts off after 4 hours. With no fresh air coming in, room becomes stiffling when asleep. Need to have some sort of system whereby during sleep hours you have constant flow of air.

Location was great. Comfortable bed. I would not stay there again. I was in room 2603. It was very noisy and my wife & kids complained about getting to sleep. For close to $600 It was a total rip off.

Location - within the cbd, comfortable to stay Cleanliness of room - very poor. The Room 4604 at night has a funny sound until next day's morning. There seem has a evil in the front room, uncomfortable to stay.

We loved the size of the apartment and the location We found the pool too cold to use and this was one of the reasons we chose these apartments, the pool area is basic.

Fast and easy check in. They upgraded us to a 2 bedroom apartment with a bigger balcony once they knew it was my husbands birthday. The staff were helpful with recommending places to eat and provided band aids for my poor blistered feet. A seven 11 nicely located next door and a stones throw away from all the attractions, will deffinately return :)

Location anf facilities Only apartment where I have had to pay a bond. I was aware of this at the time of booking so doesn't really bother me but would be interested as to why they take a bond instead of like other places who just swipe a credit card. Reception staff need to take a lesson in meeting and greeting people as there was not much of a welcome on our arrival. Neither of these two points bother me that much, just an observation, but if two places were equally suitable I would not probably choose to stay at Meriton again.

We loved how central it was and the apartments were up to date and fantastic. We also loved having our own kitchen and laundry room. This was the last stop on our Australia trip and couldn't have had more comfortable accommodations! We also loved having a gym and pool on site!

The unit was clean and roomy with all the facilities necesary I was unhappy having to pay a bond of $200 when I arrived at meriton at 7pm and left the following morning t 9.30am. I am a 59 year old accountant and my wife and son have reputable careers. So the likelihood of my stealing any items in the unit were extremely remote. Worst still, I was told it could take a week to get the $200 returned. This does not happen if I stay in a 5 star hotel. Moreover, why cannot that bond be refunded on the day of departure after the unit has been inspected by cleaners. In this day of electronic transfer of funds, thuis delay in the refund just means your business has the use of my money for no sound commercial reason. This is an issue that may cause me to think hard about returning to meriton.

Convenient location, spacious rooms, modern decor and furnishings. Having the kitchen and laundry facilities were very useful. Staff were friendly and efficient. Not being able to access the balcony due to doors being locked for security reasons??
