Exceeded our expectations in relation to value for money. This would be the only property we would stay at in the future. The on-site parking was good. It was a very easy stay, and the apartment quality and amenties were fantastic.

Wow! Liked everything - we were very impressed. The room was beautifully furnished with modern appliances,cutlery and cookware and plenty of storage space - and I loved that it contained a coffee plunger!! The beds were super comphy ... nice heavy curtains to block out morning light ... and it was in a very quiet area. The pool was a fabulous temperature (warm for winter!) and the spa, even warmer. I have already raved about our experience to everyone else who came from Toowoomba for the Hockey Championships my son was competing at (which is why we stayed at the Meriton). I even posted a recommendation on my Facebook page!! When I had a problem with a 'beeping' noise in the room, Reception had someone to my room almost instantaneously!! Twice!! (thought it was the smoke alarms ... but turned out it was the Dishwasher ... silly me!) Fabulous. Fantastic. Wonderful! I will choose the Meriton Southport FIRST if I need accomodation on the Gold Coast. Congratulations! One little improvement .... the shower head is SO environmentally friendly that I found it a tad difficult getting shampoo and conditioner out of my hair ... the spray is a little TOO fine.

Our stay was for business purposes and we found having the two bedrooms with there own bathrooms suited our needs well. Feel that the bathroom with a bath in it should have been cleaned when used daily - all other facilities were cleaned appropriately during our stay.
