The hotel is very conveniently situated within walking distance of all the city of Sydney has to offer. The room we had was very well serviced on a daily basis (enjoyed the soft towels). The restaurant is very convenient after a long day out and the young woman serving is extremely pleasant and efficient. Please pass this comment on to her. The restaurant is a bit tired looking and needs sprucing up. |

The hotel can be summed up in one word: adequate. It is a no-frill hotel with all the neccessary amenities you will need. We stayed in a standard Queen bedroom and though the room was small with no view to speak of, it was clean and tidy completed with toiletries, hairdryer, air-condition, electric kettle, a drawerful of glasses and saucers, instant tea should we want to make our own beverages and an iron & ironing board. The hotel is also located very conveniently to the shopping ammenities such as the famous QVB,TGV & Strand Arcade. We didn't have any problem finding food nearby too.The supermarket Woolworth was almost at our doorstep and there were quite a number of Italian cafes as well.I'll definitely stay there again if I visit Sydney. |

Centrally located, very convenient, friendly and helpful staff, great room service food, nicely renovated. The remote controls were slow and you had to make sure u didnt turn off the TV coz then it wouldnt work, which is a waste of energy. The towels were rough. |

They let me check in as early as 7 a.m. Their rates for Internet access are high. However, the Paradiso Cafe next door has free Internet access. But then, the Paradiso Cafe apparently have a deal with the hotel obliging them to cut Internet access at night. As a client, one feels manipulated by such practices. |

The room was clean, and had basically all the necessary amenities such as hair dryer, shampoo & conditioner, and irons. The room, although it was described as a "superb queen," was actually pretty small. |

I think the hotel was in an excellent location, we were surprised at how nice the rooms were and spacious. Parking wasn't too far away and was a good rate. We liked the fact that there was no mini bar, so we could put our own things in the fridge Was a bit of a mission to get ice, but once found ok. the telephone info was a bit complicated until you found the correct instructions. little, not really important things. |

Clean and quiet The room is a bit small, there is no view at all as our room is facing the window of another room, we need to close the curtain for all the time. The cost for internet access is too expensive |

I stayed there for a week and had had no complaints. The hotel is close to the city center and shopping areas. It is clean, quiet and its staff are quite helpful. I would recommend Metro on Pitt to anyone visiting Sydney. |

Room was comfortable, and reasonably well insulated from street noise (monoroal runs up Pitt Street).Providing of bottled water was greatly appreciated, especially when in unfamiliar environment. Availability of Iron/Board and Hair Dryer were also appreciated. Food prices in restuarant quite high. Australia and New Zealad Hotels should provide transformer plugs for electical appliances (razors; curling irons as power is 220 and illogical three prong layout). |
