The cleaniness of the hotel and the friendly and helpful staff. Also the hotel is in a great position to walk to the city. The Excutive Park View Room was a little bit cramped but the bed was very comfortable |

I am only using the hoyel while my husband has Cemo treatment for his Leukaemia and find it very clean and convenient. Iam booking in for the 6 th February as well as the 26th February. I was told that the rates are going up on the 26th February as there is a adcd concert on in Brisbane. As I have stayed there for the last couple of months, I think this is very unfair. |

We were only there for one night -- the receptionist (Mrs. ? with a son living in Ireland) was very helpful and pleasant. Slightly too utilitarian even for a budget hotel -- no real atmosphere which might have tempted clients to use the facilities ie. the bar, eating, etc. We stayed there because of the proximity to Roma St. Station (taking the Tilt Train north the next morning). |

Interesting building shape was a good talking point. It was handy for the hospital. The carpark is not accessable after 8pm which is really a bit early. |

Only stayed overnight to attend a function at a nearby venue. Live 45 minutes from city and didn't want to drive home and wanted a bed for the night. It definitely fit the "bill". Convenient, comfortable etc Lovely spot with great views. |

Location great, Staff friendly and helpful. The lobby needs an upflift. The practice of charging for room internet connection ($ 6.70 per hour) is out-of-date in 2009. |

The Metro offers good value for money and is comfortable and well located. The staff are very freindly and helpful. Yes the place is a little tired and dated and has probably seen better days but to be honest, that just added to the charm. We'd definatly stay again. Only on lift available for guests to use. |

Pleasant staff, adequate restuarant dinner, proximity to city and Wickham Tce. medical services. (PS. Our first stay was our honeymoon, Sept. 1966!) No. Good value for our money. |

The view over the city is great We did not like the dining facilities, they were too noisy, more like a hotel bar. |

large comfortable room - a sliding door I could open so I didn't have to be air-conditioned and lovely to have a balcony to s it outside with a coffee. Also, I enjoy an occasional cigarette at the end of a long day's travel so the balcony was great - its not good, as a woman travelling alone, to be forced to go down and outside. Would like to see comfort and convenient location added. Will stay again and recomment to friends. |

All the staff were helpful but the staff in the bar and kitchen were extremely friendly and accommodating. The carpark, although convenient, is a little tricky to negotiate with a large car. |

Clean, spacious room with facilities in good working condition and the hotel's location which is within walking distance from the city centre. The hotel's hilltop location and its entrance facade which does not reflect its star rating. |

Very efficient & helpful reception staff. Comfortable bed & clean room, with all I required, and not noisy (most of the time). The cleaning staff were noisy quite early on Sunday morning, but not any other time during my stay. That is probably the one day they need to tone it down, as people more likely to get going later. I could not have that bit of extra sleep I needed. I found the taps for the shower being on the outside a little disconcerting, but not impossible to deal with. The uphill hike from the city was a bit hard for someone who'd been a dance workshops all day long, but I found if I did not take the shortcuts, & went via the street, it was a much less taxing, gradual walk up. |
