LIFT but you don't need it unless moving luggage
A comfortable room
A long walk to CBD no Buses on weekend
Location is good, and there is free parking. The on-site restaurant looked good, but importunately it was closed when we were there (quiet time between Christmas and New Year)
Fairly tired fitout, in need of refurbishment. There was no soap in the room on arrival, and some was quickly supplied on request at the front desk - so quick that I got the impression that it was a common occurrence..
A short walk down to Queen Street Mall. Decent bathroom, comfortable bed. Friendly staff. A decent room for a reasonable price. Free wifi.
The establishment was quite old looking. The air-conditioner had a mouldy smell, with slightly visible mould. Elevator to floors was somewhat scary, although worked okay. The views from the balcony were rather dire. Wifi network was quite poor, and worked intermittently.
The location ,staff were very friendly, comfortable bed
The lift, no chairs on balcony, no smoking on balcony, no coffee mugs in room even after I adked for them
road noise, sink blocked, stain on chairs, no hair drier, no shampoo, awful coffee
Nice, clean, comfortable room
Internet speed was a bit slow
The free parking and WiFi. Location was good.
The bed was to hard and the noise from the early morning rubbish collection. Also no shampoo and the soap was in a dispenser, where in the one of the photo's it shows travel size soap and shampoo....
Ladies on reception are very friendly & a very comfortable nights stay. Would recommend
The kettle in my room 211 did not work
The location is handy to so much of Brisbane by foot or public transport. The parking area may not be 'secure' but since I could get a 4wd off the street and under cover this more than makes up for it.
Short walk to the City and great for travellers coming in by the air train-it's just a few blocks away from Central Station so no need to spend money on expensive taxi fares or car hire to get around. There's also a restaurant if you love a cooked breakfast. Staff were friendly, eager to please and helpful. There's quite a few restaurants and coffee shops nearby and a pub. For those late night snacks, a 711 convenience store is nearby.
Early morning traffic can be a bit noisy, but it's usually okay before 7am-if this bothers, best to ask for a room away from the street. Some rooms have frosted glass, so no view there. Credit card surcharge is a bit irritating. The restaurant wasn't as affordable for breakfast as the class of motel suggests it should be, but it has a pleasant ambience nonetheless.
Great location, close to the city. Fantastic staff and excellent restaurant.
Staff Location Rates Breakfast
Short walk to cbd to shops close to public transport very affordable
Bus services. Nearby shops. Room serviced daily.
Main road can be a bit noisy at times, but that is expected,
Great location, close to Central Station and city shopping Balcony was unexpected bonus for the price
I liked that it was easy to find, had free parking, aircon and a terrace a few doors up for smokers.
I didn't like that it did not have Foxtel as I am a poor sleeper, the parking was free but very hard to get out once someone parked in the middle lots (took us at least 15 in and outs to finally get free.) The beds felt comfy at first but after an hour we both felt sore backs from the mattress being too firm. The only place we could eat within walking distance was the Motor Inns restaurant but I admit the food although very large proportions was very nice. We only went to pick up my grandson and my son's son who lives in Ipswich so it was really a place to rest after 10hr drive then pick him up and drive back to Sydney again. It wasn't bad for a night but if we were staying longer I would stay elsewhere.
Good location, free wifi.
The furniture is old and the room doesn't look like as in the pictures.
Staff were great and accomodating with an early check in. Easy access into the city.
We suspect the bed in our room had bed bugs as I woke up with bites in the morning
Quiet room and air conditioning
Bed not as good as Room 307
Good location. Rooms fit family of 5 comfortably. Only downside is bathroom old and dated
Good location, excellent out of hours access, bottle shop next door!
Lots of wifi access points but connection constantly dropped out.
