Middle Park Hotel    

General air of being well looked after and well-staffed. Nice ambience of a restored historic hotel. Location in a pleasant village shopping strip away from city-bound traffic.

Dining room relatively expensive with elaborate dishes (more like an upper-class restaurant). Offset by limited list of nice meals in the bar. Limited quantity of tea- and coffee-making materials in room. No off-street parking. Note that these criticisms are only from the point of view of short-stay travellers passing through. Holiday guests with money to spend will certainly enjoy every feature.

The pub is excellent, fantastic food, drinks, and good value for money. The room was very clean and luxurious. I loved the shampoo, soap and wonderful bath robes. Really yum brekkie;)! The staff were also really friendly and very helpful.

the staff at Middle park were the best and most caring I have ever come across. They were young, enthusiastic, and extraordinarily helpful and friendly. Nothing was too small or too big for them to help with. ON my last afternoon there I got hit by a car door while biking. They called the hospital ER several times to check on how I was doing. How many hotels would do that? The hotel also has great food and is in one of the nicest and friendliest neighbourhoods I have ever seen

The staff were wonderful and so was the food. Felt very comfortable.

A little busy for me at times, but a great place attracts more people. A lot of stairs to the top floor, but good exercise.

The location on the park was lovely, st parking was free which was amazing so close to the city. The rooms had a nice design touch breaking away from white standard hotel rooms. A lovely stay

No gym at this hotel, but it is opposite Albert park so get out and about.

The Staff were very friendly. The ease of getting to the Hotel from the Train Station or City. Close to the water, Cafe`s Room was Modernized and Clean. would recommend to others but have light Luggage.

The musky smell in the hall from the old suitcases. Not having Lifts to handle your luggage.

No lift. one drink and one main course for breakfast and having to pay for any extras - toast etc.

Beautifull old hotel tastefully refurbished, good service.

Needed some help with luggage up the stairs as no lift, this was not offered on checkin or checkout.

Loved everything about our stay here!! The hotel and atmosphere is beautiful. The staff were extremely friendly no matter who served us. We would definitely stay again and I would also recommend this hotel to anyone.

The pillows, after lying on them for a while they were like concrete! I had to borrow pillows off a friend who lived close by just to get a good night sleep.

front door constantly banging all night and particularly from 4.45 am meant interrupted / no sleep - bed was hard (mattress thin) - room size smaller than expected

Our second stay here and once again it was lovely. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Staff were all very nice and breakfast was delicious.
