I liked the old world charm of the hotel. The children who stayed with me loved the staircase and enjoyed the walks up and down the stairs each time we went out or returned. Reception was friendly, information more than suitable. Location excellent. There is nothing negative I can say about the hotel except it could be renovated and/or modernised. It seems like a lot of nooks and crannies and passages. The lift ought to be modernised because it is a bit scary and noisy and heavy to operate. |

I liked the breakfast and the friendliness of the staff, both restaurant and at reception. They were very helpful. I was a little disappointed in the room, it was small and didn't have any natural light. Was also noisy. Would have been good to have tea/coffee provided. |

The traditional European character of the hotel and the winding passageways which made for an exciting (if sometimes confusing) route between street entry and room - wonderful! There was too much food selection for breakfast!!! My waistline suffered - keep up the good work!! Don't change it! |

We appreciated the cleanliness of our room and the atmosphere of the hotel. Review states we were in a "Superior" room. We were actually in a "Standard' room. Our window overlooked a street that had a fair amount of pedestrian traffic throughout the night. As we wanted the window open and not use the air con. we were disturbed several times by noisy groups. |

really cosy and excellent breakfast we were given a "blind room", however because of a new building next to Maud's, almost half of the rooms are "blind" |

Loved the quaint Swedish decor from the moment one steps into the hotel lobby. Especially liked the old-fashioned lift which lent the place an old-world charm. Room was clean, cosy and comfortable. Breakfast was generous and sumptuous with impeccable service. |
