The location and private room.
The TV was not working well, couldn't get the channels.
LOcation, cleanliness, value for money
smokers on verandah outside room
Ver friendly staff. Large comfortable room
The old fashioned atmosphere is pleasant. Every surface was clean. We were impressed.
room closest to street upstairs was affected by very vocal, noisy across road neighbours which spoiled the peaceful atmosphere we normally encounter.
The style of the motel.
Friendly, but really old buildings and carpets, little bit far from city center.
Good staffs Good location Massive size of the apartment, good for group of people!
Very helpful and friendly staff. Spacious room and cool retro-chic decor.
Location was ok .
Felt it was overpriced, not even soap in the bathroom, when we walked into room it was so hot and stuffy.
Reception staff very friendly
The room was a bit old
The front office receptionist had a very bad attitude and was just an angry, nasty person.
Great view and nice room.
The sytle of the motel and the view. Room is clean and nice to live in
A little far from CBD
Close to bus routes, shops. Enjoyed character of the place, lovely furniture. Helpful staff.
Comprehensive list of places to buy meals to be delivered to room, but had to ask for plates and utensils, ended up eating soup with a teaspoon because i couldn't be bothered going back again. Also no table to eat at.
The staff were excellent with the exception of our last phone contact not being passed on which could have resulted in left clothing being tossed out. A late opening general store, a hotel and an Italian food place were within a block. Room was good.
The distance from town was okay going down but all uphill coming back. (Not the fault of the Motel of course).
Great huge room Close to pub Great bathroom Walk down to city centre was all downhill
No sbs on the tv No a-league on tv/ Fox Sports 4 Walk back from city centre was hard uphill all the way
It is very pleasant place to stay ,it is a touch of bygone era with the decoration and carpet to match,it has modern bathroom,a small fridge,a microwave, the room are spacious and furniture are comfortable, The car parking is important as the motel on a steep hill from the town center which is not far to walk if you are fit and healthy, will we stay there again? Definitely yes
The charge of wifi, nowadays it is free everywhere including transport and caffe
VCR with free videos at reception. Fridge and microwave. Spacious room and bathroom.
Could not stop smoke from people smoking on the veranda entering the room.
the location and the room was clean.
was like stepping back into 1970, very dated. noisy fridge and very basic facilities. not worth $170/night.
The main building looked good. If you have a vehicle the location is handy. There is a great italian eatery within walking distance. Michael was very professional and pleasant.
We stayed in one of the front units, not the main building. The room smelt unpleasant and overpowering. The room was tired and old. It was noisy from doors slamming all night & shower/toilets. Value more like $70.
I still don't understand why wifi must be so exorbitantly expensive in Australia. Why can't it be free?
bus service almost at the front door. breakfast delivery--eating in our pajamas. :-)
walking UP the hills. setting up WIFI was a bit too complicated, not to mention the cost.
Great friendly welcome on arrival. Lots of helpful information about where to eat etc.
Decor a little dated but for one night stay more than adequate comfort
