Very friendly lady welcomed us, homemade biscuits in the fridge. No noise from busy road, extra large room. There was nothing to dislike. A torch would be handy of walking to the Hotel.

We liked the welcome, the size and style of the rooms, it's location and of course the doulbe spa. Not a dislike, however Breakfast would be nice.

Although the sheets were very clean they had that smell of humidity in them, maybe due to the consistent rain we had. It was nothing major but can be annoying in the middle of the night.

It was quiet, people friendly and relaxing. Close drive to shops and restaurants hostess was friendly and helpful. They don't supply breakfast and no restaurant on site.

The couple who run Stonehaven were very welcoming and friendly. Room was spotless and the spa bath was fantastic! Gardens were absolutely beautiful :) It was all lovely!

Location was nice. Scottish Decor was a novelty. We found a dead cockroach on the bed when we arrived. We found a large live cockroach in the bed which woke us at 2.00am Saw a live cockroach on Bathroom wall.

Quiet Relaxing location Beds need to be changed every alternate day rather than NEVER (this was a negative) Nice touch with the shortbreads and much appreciatted ( for 2 days out of 5) carpets need to be steam cleaned curtians have moth eaten holes visible in daylight hours

I loved staying at Stonehaven, the helpfulness of the owners, the location, and the wonderful accommodation. One small problem, even though it not effect me. It would be great for most travellers if breakfast were available, even if this was at extra cost.
