Staff were friendly and helpful Shared bathrooms were new and clean

Loved the location. My room was really comfortable with a lovely modern ensuite. The price was really brilliant...very good value for money.

Great customer service - I appreciated the phone call before I arrived and that I was asked if I wanted a room with a view. It was lovely to look out and see the lights of Sydney. Fabulous location right near ferry and I enjoyed the lovely Thai restaurant 100m down the road and the fabulous (very popular) cafe at the ferry wharf. Thank you!

At a very good location and very good value for a city trip.

Nice welcome, rooms are functional and clean. If you are not too fussy and don't mind sharing a large clean bathroom, then save yourself 150 dollars a night. The location was really easy to get to from the airport by train, and it is a 100m walk to the ferry that takes you to circular key and the opera house.

Very hot. No airconditioner. Windows can not be left open as no security screens. Noisy location as on a corner. Left hotel three days pre paid early as not comfortable to sleep.

The location was great, a couple of minutes walk to the ferries and a short trip on the water past the opera house etc to the ferries or train terminal right in town. While the building is older it has been well done up with good facilities. Friendly relaxed atmosphere

Good location

Shower/toilet area was a disaster. Modern enough but no shower curtains meant total floor space was saturated. Toilet paper strewn around. Share ablution a turn off.

Good location. Clean. Plenty of good towels and one of the best pillows I have ever used at hotels. Friendly receptionist.

The room was very small. Fridge was right next to my bed as a bedside table. Electric extension box and cord was just around my foot near the bed. The cleaner started to clean the communal kitchen around 11pm. Our room was right next to the kitchen, and the noise echoing around the old stone building and was a little annoying.

It was well located for Neutral Bay Wharf although there were infrequent ferry services. Room was very clean.

It advertises itself as a Motor Lodge but only has 4 very small car parking spaces which is a problem during the week when there is restricted parking on the road side. Our room was by the kitchen and we were kept awake by other guests cooking a meal at 11.30pm and then others up early the following day for breakfast.

Hard to get into - arrived late to a locked door and no easy way to contact reception

The bed and pillows were the most comfortable of the whole 6 day holiday. Walking distance to the end of the stree was only about 350m and we were at the ferry terminal to catch one over to circular quay.

The term 'shared bathroom' wasn't one I was familiar with and was actually a seperate shower room in the hall way, with the toilet out of the hallway around the corner from the kitchen. This was a bit quirky however the room and beds were very comfortable and made up for it. There was a little noise from the shared/comunal kitchen however this ceased relitively early in the evening and didn't start up to early in the morning so once again a bit quirky but of no great consequence. We were in early enough to get one of the 6 or so off street car parks, however it didn't give me the impression of being to secure and I was relieved that our car was still there in the morning. Besides the above comments I would still re-book again if we were in the area.
